So, Massively just posted today that update 20 is going to launch next Tuesday, has anyone heard anything from any other sources that corroborate that?

I didn't notice any Turbine posts or anything indicating it was coming out on Tuesday so I was wondering where they may have gotten their information.

You have to realize giving the press a scope on a hot story, provides more coverage overall.

I have to agree with this. It doesn't really hurt if a third party gets the release information a day or so before us. It's part of the "you scratch my back, I scratch your back" that helps both parties. Massively hopes to get an influx of DDO players to hit their website; Turbine hopes that the article will pique interest in their game(s).

I'm more upset about the schizophrenic way that deals and coupons get done. They'll throw deals up on Twitter and/or Facebook with no mention on the forums. I understand that they might want to make social media more active, but to ignore the forums with the deals is asinine. The forums/website should be the main place for such things and the other social media should be the peripheral stuff to spread the message faster. It's completely backwards.

Strange to see the release date posted there first instead of the ddo forum.

i won't buy this pack, the items are still underpowered, the epic destinie pastlives too weak. The exp a tad bit low for its level.

Dev's were informed about this but ignored it.



Good to see an actual Eberron quest for a change, forgotten realms were so poorly written the past years.
