    Default Next Prestige Enhancements

Did any dev hint what are the next classes winning a new tree? If yes, which class, and which tree will it be?
I personally have several suggestions, and I'm sure that plenty of players also have. It would be nice if we could have even if just a hint of it.

They seriously need to add healing tree to FvS, ASAP.

I don't know the answer to the OP's question, sorry.

Eldritch Knight (for wizards and sorcs) is on Lammania atm, though.

But really, the classes that need more trees are bard, fighter and fvs.

Why, you can already heal every raid in the game with 17 FvS levels and a 120 devotion augment.

Heal bots already heal 3 to 5 times more hit points than most characters have. Who needs 1500 to 2500 point heals?

I guess if it adds some passive healing so I can concentrate more on doing the OTHER stuff a divine can b3 good at, I'm on board with it.

They seriously need to re-do the barbarian enhancement trees.

    Cleric is better at everything.
FvS can't even match him at melee, since without healing tree his self heals ssucks.

Red wizard is implemented into DDO as an archmage- a wizard that gets bonus to one chosen school.
Weapon master is implemented into DDO as a kensei- a fighter that gets bonus to 1 weapon (changed to group of weapons in U19).
Blackguard don't fit into a game where we are the heroes and can't be evil.

Personally, I'd go with replacing a few PrE trees in addition to acquiring new ones, and limit to 4 trees.

Barbarian: retain Frenzied Berserker (probably define it as THE offensive tree, and also the tree that improves Rage), Occult Slayer (maybe keep iit as a defensive tree, but if they're gonna be the anti-casters, make them almost invincible to magic), probably Ravager (less offensive tree, more debuffing tree). As new trees, I'd suggest Runescarred Berserker (uses SLAs to self-buff) or Bear Warrior (Wildshape into a Bear, add Rage on top!)

Bard: retain Warchanter. Replace Spellsinger with Lyric Thaumaturge (and make it a proper casting tree, adding stuff from the Sublime Chord PrC). Add Seeker of the Song (a song-inclined PrE that allows "weaponizing" Bardic Music; it'd take most of the song-inclined enhancements from Spellsinger, though) and Dirgesinger (allows controlling, summoning and bolstering undead; also grants some Necromancy spells).

Cleric: retain Radiant Servant, Warpriest. Replace Divine Disciple with High Priest (similar in most ways to Archmage, except no SLAs; a pure caster-focused tree). Add Master of Shrouds (somewhat like Pale Master; you summon incorporeal creatures instead of skeletons, though).

Fighter: retain Kensai (but make it closer to the original, where you had less "pseudo-maneuvers" and more "you're excessively good at wielding weapons"; might as well give it the option of elemental toggles as higher-level abilities), Stalwart Defender. Add Warmaster (what PDK should have been, a buffing class) and Duelist (a class best inclined for finesse weapons, light armor, and excelling at crits)

Paladin: retain Sacred Defender (but give it some meaningful changes). Change Knight of the Chalice to Fist of the Gods (the offensive tree, adding stuff from the old KotC and HotD, but making your smites extremely powerful, allowing them to add status effects or even attack on area). Add Hospitaler (a healing-based tree) and Grey Guard (since people insist on Blackguard, this is the most efficient way: a Roguish class, with some Necromancy powers)

Ranger: retain Arcane Archer, Tempest, Deepwood Sniper. I'd add Beastmaster to the list (so that Rangers finally get their darned Animal Companion!)

Rogue: retain Assassin, Mechanic, Thief-Acrobat. Add Master Thrower (the ultimate thrown weapon specialist)

Sorcerer: retain the Elemental Savants, but make them one tree instead of many. Replace Eldritch Knight with Dragon Disciple (a melee-inclined class, but also granting draconic defenses, resistances, immunities, and physical prowess). Add Acolyte of the Skin (to gain fiendish powers) and Alienist (slowly turns you mad, but makes you closer to the Daelkyr. Definitely not for the cringe-worthy).

Wizard: retain Archmage and Pale Master. Ambivalent about Eldritch Knight, but I'd say "tentatively retain". Add Bonded Summoner (allows summoning Constructs, Fiends or Elementals, and improve them).

The Premium classes are harder to tackle, but I can speak well at least of one:
Favored Soul: replace Warpriest with Divine Champion (and make it actually distinct to a Warpriest). Remove Angel of Vengeance (really: bear on me for this one). Add Divine Disciple (yeah, the one from the Cleric class), Contemplative (a nifty PrE that works well with Monks as they grant a Ki bar, loads of immunities, and ways to turn Ki into SP and viceversa), and Thaumaturgist (yet another "summoner" tree, but adding healing to the list as it's really more of a "Conjuration specialist").

In fact, it'd be easy to resume it as follows:
    Barbarian: Offensive, Defensive, Debuff, Transformation
    Bard: Warrior, Caster, Singer, Debuff/Necromancer
    Cleric: Healer, Warrior, Caster, Necromancer
Favored Soul: Warrior Offensive, Caster, Monkish/Semi-Caster, Healer/Summoner
Fighter: Offensive/Tactical Specialist, Defensive, Buffer/Leader, Roguish
    Paladin: Offensive, Defensive, Healer, Roguish/Necromancer
Ranger: Ranged Offensive/Semi-Caster, Melee Offensive, Favored Enemy Specialist/Skill-Based, Animal Companion
Rogue: Melee Offensive, Trapbuster/Ranged Semi-Offensive, Defensive/Melee Semi-Offensive, Ranged Offensive (thrown only)
Sorcerer: Caster (Elemental Spells), Caster (Fiendish magic), Warrior/Caster (Dragons), Caster/Summoner (Aberrations)
    Wizard: Caster, Necromancer, Warrior/Caster, Summoner

That way, you can see most trees will overlap. It makes it easier for those who multiclass, as that'd allow overlapping trees to provide some "phantom" AP to qualify for the abilities of other trees. Four trees would require more AP, so boosting the AP count to 100 (one for every rank you get, even the ranks where you gain a level) would be necessary.

As a final note: all PrEs except Mechanic are based off actual Prestige Classes in the tabletop game. Even the rarer ones (such as Warmaster: trust me, it exists). In fact, if you think Mechanic should be changed in order to fit an existing PrC, it could easily be "Trapsmith". It's partly the reason why it's so hard to handle the Artificer, because none of the PrEs exist, and why I dropped stuff like Beacon of Hope and Angel of Vengeance (they don't exist in tabletop). Also, notice how every class has its own PrE, even if at core they overlap (Stalwart Defender and Sacred Defender overlap a bit, for example).

P.S.: I almost forgot. Red Wizard will probably be an Iconic (Human/Wizard), so I wouldn't add it. I'd say Master Specialist, but Archamge is supposed to be that already.

Default What i'd like to see for each class

bard: take warchanter, look at eldritch knight. Make it work
cleric: actually looks pretty good. Divine disciple needs a little bit of work imho, but it's pretty good
Druid: We have a good casting and a good melee tree, i'd like to see a hybrid focused tree, but it's a pretty low priority
favored soul: SLA's. That's all we need. SLA's
Paladin: Give us a tree with solid DPS. KotC is good until you fight a neutral bear. I'd call it the light bringer, give it an attack similar to the EK eldritch strike, and have it focus on dealing bonus light damage against enemies. Things like channel divinity: deal 1d6/paladin level to all near by enemies. must make a will save or be blinded: DC=10+Pal level+ cha mod. Hm.. I'll have to think this up more and post it in suggestions.

Wizard- I'd like a wild mage

Say what you want, but I like the fact that now there are trees shared by multiple classes.
I never liked tieing pres to certain classes. It may make sense for 1 or 2 trees but that's it.
Instead, I'd like to see option to choose any tree, if character meets certain requirements (and unlocking higher pre levels with more advanced requirements).
Then we'd have trully unlimited building power.

Funny because IMHO the Barb enhancements are actually some of the better stuff to come out of the enhancement pass...personally I'm itching to roll up a Occult Slayer Barb...just need to work out the right build (an Occult Slayer/EK would be funny :P)

I'm sorry you feel that way. Perhaps if you explained why, people would take your opinions seriously.

@FailedLegend: That would be interesting! IIRC, the weapon bond enhancements don't require the user to be Raged to work.

People have already posted what is wrong with the barbarian enhancements on the forums. If you are serious on knowing then search the forums for your answer rather than relying on other people to repost things that have already been covered. Your welcome.

@FailedLegend The weapon bonds take too much stacks to make them reliable. Especially if you have to change weapons for certain mobs alot.

That is kinda interesting, I rarely see people happy with their favourite class (my case being the paladin). I have a barbarian and I find it perfectly fine, I am loving Revenger line. I think I would love Occult Slayer also, but I am always switching weapons so that is a problem. I kinda hated Warpriest, dunno why, maybe my cleric is just gimped. AA is awesome atm, and I think few people disagree. Artis have it easy now also, but only 2 trees so I'm a bit curious about the next one.

What I am being REALLY worried about is the next paladin tree. I think that Turbine has pretty high chances of screwing up this. Specially if they follow suggestions of the paladin-healer: please, no, no, no no no, paladins have already a pretty decent self-healing ability, a healing tree would be... just... pointless, really. Paladin is not a healer type class. I would suggest a hybrid tank-DPS tree, perhaps with lots of aura stuffs for buffing the whole party. This tree could potentially complement the holes in the 2 other...
