Default ED twist at lvl 1

ED twist at lvl1, it is still working guys, please make it so the fate spinner won't even acknowledge any one whose level is lower than 20.

Or just reset every spent ED point upon a reincarnation. Heroic characters can't spend ED points, and without any point spent they can't twist anything anyway.

Once they hit 20, they can just respent everything in 5 minutes and go back to their full power.

I want DDO to be a better game. Those are my personal suggestions on: Ammunition, Archmage, Combat Stances, Deities, Dispel Magic, Epic Destiny Map, Fast Healing, Favor, Favored Enemy, Half-elf Enhancements, Monk Kensai, Monk Stances, Past Life, Potency, Potions, Ranger Spells, Summons, Tiered Loot.

Or make the ability to use a limited subset of twists (perhaps all passive twists and all active healing twists) usable at heroic levels as a reward for some amount of epic TR (perhaps one of the rewards for epic completionist but not the only reward since epic completionist should give something that epic characters can use as well).

I'd rather not have a bug where half ED points disappear and you have to keep Coyle alive to get 1 point back.

    Unhappy

There are so many ways turbine could have addressed this bug for the past year, the fact that none of them have been attempted is quite frankly insulting to those of us who have pursued a career in IT.

Actually I believe the answer is much more simple than resets and prevention of spending.

Simply put a ML of 20+ on all ED abilities. If the character level does not match the ML of the ability it is disabled. No resetting needed, no potential of loss of Fate/ED points. It is rather simple and straight forward.

Its not broken - it's a feature - which I for one would like to see being kept

    Legalise it!

This is asking for issues with the Spaghetti code.

Though making the Fate-Spinner not even appear until level 20 would get the job done.

vips dont need to talk with a fatespinner to swap destinies, so no.. making the FS avaliable only at 20+ will not work.

Just put a requeriment of lvl +20 to any twist.

Let it go already. They have stated that it is not WAI. They also have more important things to accomplish than worry about your whining that actually effect the function of the game. They will get to it Soon (TM).

If you are not sure what is more important than twists on Heroic Difficulty, take a look at the known issues list on the forums. They all have greater importance of retaining players than this.

They can't fix twists. Where would we get our daily drama on the forums from? I don't want to go back to RwtD is too hard for drama.

I could see Turbine applying a burden of guilt type effect here. Any time any destiny ability is used or actively buffing a toon, they become affected by burden of guilt. In that way you can use it, but move and act at 10% speed until you stop being a bad boy.

Even better than that, they just start subtracting xp while you use them. Every minute you have a passive destiny twisted below level 20 and whenever you use an activated destiny ability below level 20, you lose 5k xp. I can see the people crying on the forums about how they lost all their xp and they don't know why. I'm sure there would be some collateral damage from people that actually don't know what's going on, but it would be very popcorn worthy indeed.

It's clear they either don't know how or simply can't keep us from using them. They just need to put in the proper disincentives.
