Gender Change When TR'ing Finally.. But any plans to add it to LR hearts?

I was testing out the TR system when I just tried to click on the gender change for some reason and noticed it worked while I was doing a Heroic TR. All I can say is thank you for finally putting this in. I have a couple of "gender confused" ex WFs running around and have been wanting a way to correct this for a long time.

My question is will there be a way to do this without doing a complete TR? Not interested in doing a whole new life just to correct the gender.

What would be awesome if you guys could give each toon a gender change token with U20, wishful thinking I know. Or at least add that option to all LR hearts.

It is WAI. I talked to the dev about this during the event. But unfortunately he said there are no plans to offer gender change outside of TR'ing.

Why would you think that? Especially since Glin specifically said they were looking into the possibility.

My understanding of the issue is that the LR is basically a reset of XP but TR is deleting and recreating the character. So while they can do this on a TR the way the system is coded makes it risky to change on a LR.

It's a good thing to be able to change gender during a TR, since you're being born again in a diferent body and all that but.. What about the name? Say i have a dwarven fighter named Grumnir Headcracker or something along those lines, and my plan is to TR into a female wizard drow... named Grumnir Headcracker? So, it's a good step, but i won't be using it much.

As for names, I suppose I can earn the TP for a name change from the DDO store every few lives.

Oh, yes, there are. But too expensive to get one every single life. What I meant is that the character you build up to 20, dies to be reincarnated (other body, other identity) so gender change is like half of the equation, you know? It's good since is something new, but (to me ) feels incomplete.
