So how many lives do you have to go through before those +2 BTC ability tomes granted by favor become useless? Two? Three? Not that many in the grand scheme of things. They're great bonuses to people in their first life, or 2nd or 3rd if they've been really unlucky/too cheap to buy them in AH, but once you get beyond that, the general favor rewards are useless.
I'd like to see more options for what people can take out of them. There are so many possibilities that it seems kind of silly NOT to put something else there. In another thread, I suggested +1 skill tomes since they seem so hard to come by otherwise. There could even be a reward at each tier for those who already have fvs, drow, etc. I'm not asking for anything OP or that you shouldn't be able to come by anyway, but at least SOMETHING to make it worthwhile.
Maybe +1 skill tomes shouldn't be granted for first tier, but it would be nice to get auto-granted 1k plat or something from tier 1, and at other tiers you could be offered crafting materials, collectible/ingredient/gem bags, choice out of 10 random +1 skill tomes (would help the current scourge that most people I've spoken to have been experience of finding upgrade tomes without the +1 tome to upgrade from), guild renown, exp...the list goes on.
It's really not a HUGE deal, but it seems like it would be something that would be incredibly easy to implement and would be a nice little bonus for players.
I'm just tired of destroying +2 ability tomes because they're BTC and thinking, "Gee. I really wish this gave me something useful instead."
