Well while not as old as the Ladder bug, still a long time to get it finally fixed. So now it is back to requiring the two different keys.

    This is a good change and I look forward to more bug fixes {eyes that ladder over there}

About time. Does make the quest painful on elite, but IIRC the save requirements aren't too high.

Anyway, Inferno is the new Orchard quest of note. More than a 50% increase in a quest that was already farmable.
The saves are mid 30s on elite .....so not every build can hit that easily (may need twink gear alot of first lifers, hell even 7th lifers, don't have - ie. madness chain armor with +10 reflex).

As I said in another thread - they need to fix the blades so they stop spinning if not active.....ie disarmed or just not spinning. I am not sure if some of the blades should be not spinning to make it easier but they always spin disarmed or not for me so I never know.

That said even jump timing is tough due to the overhangs you can bonk into if your jump is too high dropping you right into the blades...then you gotta land just right and slide a bit into the middle to avoid the darts - heal up if you got hit by anything and repeat x3.....and those traps also hit hard pretty much 2 hits or so to kill the average non-evasion character (on elite) - that is as simple as one hit going over and one hit on landing if you jump just a bit too far....then its run back to hireling - get raise - run through all traps take raise.....though it works it's not optimal.

I like the change but they may want to tweak down the save required and/or provide a non-evasion way to get to the key.

I doubt this is WAI but blur actually works against those traps. Even without blur I've seen misses from the traps.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

My favorite part about all these recent Lam changes is that you doombois can't claim anymore that "They never listen to feedback anyway. Whatever is on Lam always makes it to live".

I will call you out every time you pull out that **** sentence in the next few months.
How many people were complaining about needing only one key?

If you guess a number higher than zero, take another shot at it.

    /agreed

This fixes the intent of the original design.

Were actively complaining or have complained? Because when I first found out about it years ago I complained.

They fixed a long standing bug. Good. The time it took to get around to it is nothing but a red herring.

makes no matter to me since soloing Temple of Vol getting all the traps for the bonus always needed both Keys.

I am just glad they went with he "key nerf" than going with the "XP nerf"

Wasn't even the same devs creating / maintaining the game when this first was discovered.

The fix is fine. The person I quoted seems to think that when people provide feedback about high impact issue A making it to live after it was reported on lam, and the devs go fix super low impact issue B but leave issue A (something with far higher impact) in game, that this is somehow something he is going to call us out on. I hope he does - the more attention those higher impact issues receive, the better.

I'm not. I'd rather no nerf at all, but the key nerf is far more obnoxious. I can get XP anywhere, and with upcoming changes, won't need as much anymore anyway.

I don't see the difference if your doing the quest with a group split up and get 2 keys it would take about the same amount of time as only going to 1 side

    if your soloing no change

beats an XP nerf any day

Really? Really? Really? You still think this is a "Nerf" and not a "fix"?

That is some great stretching of the word "Nerf"

When Horoth regained his proper hit points did we think that was a "Nerf" too?

How about when we no longer had to gather the party to "Save Arlos" was that a "Nerf" too.

I'm all for calling out a real "Nerf" but this isn't even "Foam" let alone "Nerf"

    Bowserkoopa,

Bad guys you want to defeat the hero's? Use Keys apparently they really hate that and will just avoid your lair rather than attempt to thwart you.
