    What would be more interesting is if they actually fixed the visible trap anomaly. The traps continue to appear to be active once the traps are disarmed. However if someone comes into the area after the traps are disabled, the traps are not moving.

    I once heard a player say, almost every trap in the game can be avoid/timed in some fashion or another if one is clever.

    He told me, when in doubt, run down the side of a hall instead of the middle.
    Double sided traps hit hardest on those who run down the middle.
