Kindred Being (Enchantment): Succubus can heal?

I took the Enchantment line in Magister and got the Succubus to summon. It happened two times so far, that I was unconscious and got back to life and I wonder if it was the Succubus, who healed me? One time it happened in A small Problem ehard, first I thought it was the Giant healing me while he followed to the entrance, but the second time it was in epic High Road and there were only me, my melee Hire and the Succubus. The combat log didn't reveal the heal, so I ask here if somebody had a similar experience?

And out of curiosity: What do the summons of all schools exactly do? The Succubus protects itself with Deathward, casts Fireball, Lightning Bolt, has a magical touch attack which does something (but what exactly?) if not saved, a melee attack and a bow attack (and maybe a heal spell when the master is unconscious).
