Wanted to get some feedback from others on this. On Thelanis I'm in a tiny guild. Basicly just me and my roommate. We run all the content together and build our builds to cover each others weak points and whatever. Anyway, this is our third life and we've been doing elites since we are now able to open them ourselves for the first run. For the most part its been good. We've gotten to lv 18 and completed most of the content 1-16 on elite, minus the raids and various quests (Ghosts of Perdition, In The Flesh, etc.) to which we said F it, we'll come back later.
We just recently started doing the Wheloon content on elite and this weekend we got to experience the awesomness of the sharadi ki whirling chain. We are both able to heal ourselves fairly well, but we take a cleric and fvs hireling along with us so we can focus on the damage without worry. But going up against the whirling chain, holy ****. My fvs could last long enough to heal himself, but the cleric it was almost guarenteed it would die when it began. We've tried lots of things to try to make it work, but it just blows. Last attempt at the oldstone hall, I loaded up on displacement scrolls eager to kill. We lasted longer, but we still party wiped a little over what I assume is half way.
I'm curious as to others experiences with these enemies and strategies you use. And how bad is the level scaling? We typically go in with us two, two hirelings, his arti pet, and two chaos trinket summons.
Edit: Sorry, Shadar Kai Assassins
