    Update:

My security software just told me that its downloaded Leadbolt, which leaks your cell# to 3rd party websites and will download apps to your phone without permission, unless you opt out at http://opt.leadbolt.com.

In order to opt out though, it wants your phone's IMEI/MEID. This is your phones social security number, the unique identification number in which scam artists/identity theft/cell phone theifs could have a field day with. HELL NO.

    DELETE APP.

As a general rule, you should NEVER give out your IMEI. However, Leadbolt is one of a few trusted push ad providers, and they do need the imei in order to not push ads to your phone.

It's a shame that WotC has resorted to using a push ad firm, and further worse - one that needs your imei in order to opt out... I'd much prefer they had NO free ap, pay only, no ads, no security risks. I'd have definitely checked that out if not for that.

Yep, that's why I updated fast. The security risks (for yourself and anyone of your contacts) of having your phone's IMEI used inappropriately outweigh any enjoyment one could get from this game.
