Sorry, but I was going through the dev tracker when I saw this, and had to reply. If this has been addressed already, my apologies:
45 free AC that takes neither feats nor equipment slots would be very valuable as that means more feats and more equipment can be dedicated to DPS making it a much better situation for the tank that had all those past lives. Such a tank would only need to hit 75-80 AC outside of these past lives, something that is trivial to many. Maybe someone who gets these past lives and dedicates there slots to AC like current tanks do can manage to hit AC numbers that actually become relevant in EE or against the LoB. I await seeing how it works out before I would claim it to be useless.

sigh...please don't support this kind of behavior. His post is utterly offensive and completely inaccurate. Tolero was one of us long before she started working for Turbine and using an offensive term to refer to those who may support Turbine is utterly lacking in any kind of respect. Frankly, I'm glad to see people like that leave. I have no room in a game I still enjoy for people with such negative attitudes.
The +2% doublestrike looks decent to me, especially for a two handed fighter.
The +2% doubleshot wouldn't do much for my monkcher, since 10k stars or manyshot are usually active during battles and they negate doubleshot. Other monkchers might not find that past life feat worth pursuing either, which is a shame, since it's the ranged feat.
I would have liked to have seen a feat or passive sphere ability that involved bypassing fortification. Actually, for the sake of my real life productivity, maybe it's better that such a feat doesn't exist.
Let's look at this shall we?
To get max DC from gear you need:
+5 tome - available from Mabar with just some time
+11 INT - available on plat AH from time to time even
+5 necro focus item - easily acquired random gen
+3 insightful INT - available in MANY forms, and +2 excep in even more - some craftable (ToD rings, shroud items)
+1 exceptional INT - SOOO many ways to get this
+1 profane - ok, this one is not so easy as noone runs Abbot anymore
pretty much everything else is completely choosable through how you build your character
So, a 1st lifer at lv 28/30 will be 1 DC behind most likely through gear because they will only have +2 insightful and not have a Litany. So that, added to no completionist and no wiz past life means 3 DC difference. Not the worst in the world and absolutely playable if the game was properly balanced.
Too mediocre and not exciting enough overall. This is not going to retain or grow the game any; hence, a fail. There is no wow I got to have that.

I see it's the continuation of doing a crappy job with anything associated with Paladins. When it came to the Enhancement trees, you now made sure that every class had something that had general melee damage when attacking (Warpriest and Eldritch Knight now open this up for the casting classes), except for Paladins that swing wet noodles at all nuetral mobs if the Paladin stays pure.
And I bet this doesn't boost damage from Lay On Hands or Paladin's Good/Light Damage, right? BTW, Paladins still can't break DR with their Capstone. Super weak, since that's suppose to be the saving grace of being a Pure Paladin (bad pun intended).
You just skimmed my post didn't you. If you had read it you would have noticed the following points:
-I never claimed 125 ac means anything
-I clearly stated that I would await evidence showing whether or not 120+ ac +45 free AC might mean anything, infering that I myself did not have evidence, but wanted to see some either way.
-My 80 ac +45 free comment was in direct response to the number you yourself posted in your comment about 120+ plus ac that most tanks shoot for currently.
To answer your question though I will refer you to your own post, that I quoted previously in which you infer that most tanks shoot for 120+ac. I assume that you have the evidence you are asking for.

Epic past lives should be better than heroic ones, and all of them are way too weak. Having passives the same and weak because they need to be weak to not be OP when stacking 9 times is lazy design and makes an already much too grindy game even more grindy. All this massive grind for super minor returns is one of the reasons you are losing so many players.
The arcane feats are super-duper terrible and weak. Here are some suggestions for what I would think are reasonable:
Magister:
Stance: 5% reduction in spell cooldowns for each stack of this feat.
Passive: +1 DC to all spells for each stack of this feat. +1 caster level for each stack of this feat.
Draconic:
Stance: +15 universal spellpower for each stack of this feat.
Passive: +1 max caster level for each stack of this feat. +1 caster level for each stack of this feat.
Fatesinger:
Stance: +1 enhancement bonus to all your equipped weapons for each stack of this feat.
Passive: +1 to all charisma based skills and +5 positive spellpower for each stack of this feat. +1 caster level for each stack of this feat.
Caster levels will of course not all stack since even with my proposed +3 max level from draconic, all casters, even level 30 ones, would end up with level 28 as max caster level, even in a non-arcane destiny. Although I would hope that it was obvious enough to the devs to give every toon an autogrant feat at level 30 that grants 5 caster levels since EDs top off at +5.

Im impresed by new epic past lifes and iconic past lifes, very worth the grind for me as im a maniac tr who is couple lifes from triple /would be if not for those darn alts and raids/.
For people who say it isn't worth:
IT IS OPTIONAL, noone is forcing you to tr, noone ever had, noone ever will.
It is your own will that limits you to go from adventurer to triple.
The first look at idea for me at least seems amazing and rly good thought out.
Not gamebraking, not to weak, overall ok.
If you added damage/dcs/other irrelevant stuff people advise you to do, it would make a big gap between trs and non trs and as we all think, it wouldnt be good to brake the game if you overpowered epic past lifes.
Do not look at some advice as some people clearly dont know what they are sugesting, its mainly a product of the rage that their esos wont be swinging harder.
You do your job dear turbine, il do mine. Yours to give me epic tr, mine to grind that whole thing out.

Sirgog posted something earlier about PRR that I found quite interesting. he was saying after a certain number the benefits for going higher significantly decrease and not worth it. I wonder if its the same with AC. is there a cut off with a certain number where the benefits aren't worth it?
