Are they serious about the new TR pricing?

Having to complete an absurd amount of Sagas to earn a HEROIC TR heart? Is this true? Unable to buy heroic TR hearts with tokens is a huge game breaker for me.. I refuse to pay 20.00 ish dollars on top of my already VIP account to heroic TR my PC, and forcing us to try and do Sagas and absolutely insane amount of times is not an option as I don't like to play Epic content. I'll be deleting my 15 toons if this goes live, guaranteed.

How many Comms will it take to get a heart for Heroic TR and how many drop for a saga completion?

At 17 comms a completion you can do the math. It's not feasible in any way shape or form.. it's the biggest blatant money grab I've ever seen from them and that means a lot as they've gotten REALLY bad lately.

I have been a pretty shameless fanboi of Turbine and DDO for years. I have always chosen to see the glass as half full. I have alway been willing to give Turbine the benefit of the doubt. I am going to do so one last time.

I am truly hoping that the numbers listed on Lama for cost of the heart and the drop rate of comms are just simple place holders. If those are real numbers however, I fear my days in DDO will be numbered. I will probably cash in all the epic tokens I have and stock up on hearts and Heroic TR until those are exhausted, but unfortunately I will never get to experience Epic or Iconic TR.

If you are trying to bring and end to DDO turbine, this will surely do it.

Please Turbine, show me that the faith I have shown over the past 3+ years (Most of that time as VIP) is not misplaced.

I mean worst case scenarios is people stop TRing and the game goes under. What could go wrong?

its entirely possible the Hearts are bloated in price until they decide hat it is test the hearts.

Tell me, how many times did the devs backpedal over the poor xp in various packs... basically every one since IQ. Not once.

It is unfortunate that history tells us this is true. It is also unfortunate that the player community has become this jaded about these tendencies, as well. I truly hope that the producers are treading carefully here, and will ultimate weigh in on the side of the players.

Check it out, read it. Apparently the pricing will be greatly reduced etc. So, Even though it'll take more time for the average player, it won't be as bad as it seems.

things have moved on a lot since the post you quoted. still a bit of a state as it's looking like 80 epic hard quests per heroic heart with no decision yet on if that will be on the HR candidate or an alt. sagas seem to be the main way to get these commendations but they are thinking up other methods.
