I have complete confidence that Turbine would never require 1000 coms for a heroic TR while only providing 17 per EH Saga. This would completely kill the old content making the epic reincarnation leveling less fun. It has to be a placeholder value.

I am sure they had the best of intentions by trying to simplify how hearts are earned, but that will only work if equivalent effort is required. There should be some way to convert fragments/tokens for the new coms. Perhaps they should start dropping these new coms in chests in addition to end reward for sagas.

I look forward to their response, I hope their response doesn't cause extreme forum embarrassment.

To make the Saga version work they'd have to:

    1) Make the amount dropped be reasonable compared to the runs now needed for TR.
    2) Make the comms BTA, not BTC.
    3) Make several more Sagas so that more epic quests are included in the system.
    4) Make at least some shorter Sagas so that people have a sense of progress towards getting what they want.
    5) Make a UI that supports tracking Sagas.
    6) Make sure Sagas never bug out again (like they've done several times now).
    7) Add something to House C Challenge pack to make it worthwhile again.

Or, they could just make tokens drop everywhere. Which has the added benefit of allowing people to run whatever they feel like, not just Sagas.

I think the last is much easier, and less prone to bugging out than doing Sagas.

I made a similar list on another thread, and ended up pretty much exactly the same points. I'll add my comments on your points, and would add my additional points if there were any. Well covered, sir.

Yes, but the answer is not to up the droprates. They need to lower the costs radically. 17 tokens for a saga is reasonable, 2000 tokens for a heart is not. A large bag holds a stack of 2500, if you can't fit enough tokens for a single pair of epic+true reincs, something is seriously amiss.

This, so much this. It's about as important as 1). BTA allows for the choice of which toon you want to play, instead of being forced to play the toon that needs the heart next. Limiting options is bad.

And heroic. There must be a way to earn Heroic TR hearts by heroic play. Sure, force epic sagas for iconic / epic reincs, but Heroic TR must have a way to TR without epic sagas.

A nice-to-have feature, but not vitally important.

Yes, so much this. Not directly related to the reinc-heart issue, but especially if they add new sagas, there has to be a better way to track them than visiting and revisiting the saga NPC:s.

A harder thing to guarantee. But yes, if sagas turn from nice-small-bonus to must-constantly-run-to-play feature, there needs to be way more QA dedicated to saga testing for every update. Removing sagas for a week to prevent endless duping of the rewards isn't an option anymore, unless they provide free reincs for the time sagas are offline. (Yes, free reincs, not free hearts).

Yes. The exp numbers need to be looked at. Even the first-time completions of the good exp/min challenges are average exp at best, the bad ones are horrible, compared to other quests. Repeated completions are a joke.

Also, the double scaling needs to go away. I remember one at-level mansion. We tried with a party of 3, but the double/triple Messenger spawns made us fail, we stopped at 1 star. We did it again with just 2 of the 3, and got an easy 6-star completion.

Yes. This game is rich in content, invalidating most of it is a bad idea. Already the old epics are run extremely infrequently, it would be nice to have a reason to run them again.
