    Default DC after logging in

Turns out the reason I DC is because I take a long time to load on the first try or two. Whoops.
Feel free to lock this thread. Thanks.

And have you learned what the work arounds are yet?

Nope. Tried checking Turbine's support site, but I couldn't find anything related to my issue.

People have reported good results with the (third party, use at your own risk) Preloader, should be able to find it with a search on this forum.

For me, it goes away when I play on a hybrid disk, or from a USB stick.

Have a look on this thread..

    http://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread...eload-official

ppl have reported some good results out of it..

but i would like to also point that the best solution so far is a fast hard drive.. like a SSD

I have the live server installed on a SSD and lammania on a normal semi-old drive.. and i some times have this issue when playing on lamma.. but never on the live server.. (unless my internet plays around.. )

I also notice that some of my "lag" was lost once i upgrade my comp to a SSD..

    expensive.. but well recommended.

    The preloader works great.
Thank you both for telling me about it.
