...here's hoping the entire first page is full of ragethreads by Monday; maybe the sentiment will actually get through.
Seriously? Seriously? Just kidding Turbine.
I was waiting for the other shoe.
In four years of this game I've let a lot of obviously poor design choices slide, because on the whole DDO has still been fun enough to ignore the bad. So when Shadowfell came and went with no raids (and no word of explanation from the devs as to why), and then the XP revamp showed up, I figured maybe you'd looked at raiding and looked at TRing and finally made a decision about your endgame focus. And you did, I suppose, and it's called "buying time", just like certain casual phone games. That's not what I started playing this for.
I've got six lives left on what I intended to be a completionist toon; if this is the change that goes through, I think I'm done here. I don't need to presume what your future plans are, or whether epic TRing will factor into this. I don't care. From where I'm sitting, this train went off the rails a while back, and now it's reached the gorge. I'm certainly not putting money into this unstable mess chasing an increasingly tarnished feat; looking at the year and a half I've spent on my main (not to mention the guildies and friends who've been gracious enough to help) seems like wasted time in the face of this saga BS. I'm absolutely not going to grind out that much on top of a life just to TR again.
At this juncture, even if this change doesn't happen this might be my exit. The disconnect between you and the players.. I don't care anymore.
I'm not sure you do either.
