A Note Regarding TR token changes AND 'The Plan'

In Business Crisis Management 101, whenever you make an unpopular change (in this instance, the major borking of the prefix/suffix system in lootgen) the first thing you are supposed to do is create an easily fixable and larger seeming disaster (TR Tokens trade-in invalidation at the Twelve.)

If I am right, in the end they will relent on the TR token change, and everyone will breathe a sigh of relief, completely forgetting the lootgen debacle--ALL ACCORDING TO PLAN.

It just won't seem that bad, and they will have gotten away with it.

I see this more as a New Coke-style debacle. They'll try to force it down our throats for a couple weeks, then when the anger refuses to fizzle out on its own, they'll triumphantly bring back Coke Classic.

And lootgen isn't going anywhere, either...both loothunting and TRing are among the basic motivations for playing the game. As long as they're not satisfactory, its obvious every time you play that something needs to be addressed, because you get that "what's the point?" feeling.
