But tokens can be earned in challenges, saga's equals you must buy the expansions. I guess it wasn't a huge surprise there is no other reason to buy an expansion with horrible quests, bad xp, and bad loot. Still wouldn't recommend buying it though you can still get comms from the motu saga and egh saga.

Good idea - however, there's no such thing as a "True Druidic Heart" in U20 - it's iconic/heroic etc hearts. Turbine will of course assure us that existing hearts will convert to heroic hearts, but the code will accidentally convert them to LR+0 hearts. This will be described as "not WAI", and then go on the known issues list. Once there, they'll feel justified leaving it for 12+ months and telling people to either buy a working heart or grind an epic saga.

Why not make the new Heroic Hearts available from the epic vendor in the twelve, like they are now for tokens, and make the new forms of of TRing available via sagas like they intend?

You believe that? I'm sure that most if not all of the offenders did have numerous items deleted, but do you really think Turbine has the man-power to do that to every alt that every one of the cheaters has? I don't.

Even if they didn't get them all wouldn't matter what is someone going to do with 100 BTC true hearts of wood....seems silly to screw the entire player base of our earned but now worthless tokens...
All we can buy now is some basic Augments that haven't been updated in over a year.

This is not okay.

You are removing any benefit to the work people have put in to acquiring tokens of the twelve for hearts of wood, and at the same time making tokens of the twelve useless.

Noone is buying the old augments (Except +1 exceptional stat augments and even then not if you have a true globe) because they are either outclassed by loot gen, or simply useless.

If you change this you are further killing any reason to run old epics and are further diminishing yet another part of your game.

Please change this, or you will annoy many long term players who have saved up many tokens of the twelve for the purpose of TR hearts and who you are now telling have farmed out all those tokens for no (in game) reason.

MAINLY WHAT ARE YOU MONKEYS AT TURBINE THINKING?
One of the only reasons ppl even run the old epics is for tokens to tr. Alot of ppl who are ftp or premium only purchased packs to run them so they could tr.
Now you are telling ppl not only will all the hard work that they have put into getting tokens, be for nothing but that they are also going to have to spend more real money to buy
the sagas just so that they can tr.
What a ploy turbine way to make a "free to play game cost even more" myself im vip, but as it is have you tryed to play a ftp account lately? ftp my bottom! It is no wounder we have the lowest new sucriber base of any mmo.I keep hearing take away this ,replace that, over and over again but i have yet to hear "new end game raid comming u20" after all that is what 95% of your entire player base is waiting on. so turbine my question is where is the raid and what are you thinking with removing hearts from the token list?

I was actually tentatively excited and even happy about recent and proposed changes to the game as they affected TR'ing. I found I liked the change to quest XP ransack, as it allowed me to skip content I didn't enjoy, and replay more content that I do. I didn't need to adhere quite so much to a 'path' in order to attain enough xp for another life.

The proposed reduction in XP requirements for 3rd and more life TR's was also a welcome change.

When I'm happy about playing the game, I spend money. I splurge on XP pots or cosmetics.

This change does NOT make me happy. It does not make me look forward to playing. It, in fact, places an unnecessary and unwelcome burden (having to run epic content on sub-optimal characters. SPECIFIC epic content that we may even dislike. Intensely.) on players.

When I'm not happy about playing the game ... I don't play. If I'm not playing I'm not spending money. I'm not usually the doom and gloom type, but this proposed change makes me distinctly gloomy.

As it stands, I support my chronic TR'ing by running epics with friends and my Guild when I want, doing content I enjoy. I'm not forced into a particular path to do so. I can swap my accumulated tokens and fragments to my TR and keep along my merry way. I don't have to inflict my under-geared, sub-optimal, gimp flavor build of the month on actual groups.

This whole idea of going back to BTC items found only in specific quest arcs in order to TR is just terrible.

And every single point of this rage that is infesting the forums today could be avoided if you guys simply keep the basic TR heart at the twelve.

That is it. No one cares if the epic heart takes two months to farm because it is a new thing. Just keep the old heart where it was and it may lessen a lot of fires and flames.

You are giving them way too much credit. They almost certainly have no intention of telling the player's, "Buy them now or lose out!" The only reason we know this is happening is because some people play on the test server and were nice enough to post in general discussion that this change was coming (or in my case because I like reading the test server's patch notes so I know what is coming). All the threads were moved back to Lamannia Discussion to keep this information from the general population. Far from warning the players to use their tokens now they are going to spring this on the general population with no warning. People will log in after a patch to discover that all their tokens are useless and it is too late to do anything about it.

This has always been a problem. You cannot earn tokens of the twelve until you hit level 20 so you are always wasting time at epic levels to get tokens even if all you want to do is heroic TR. At least at one point you could do an epic challenge when you were below level 20 if you had someone that was level 20+ to open it for you, but now you cannot even enter an epic challenge unless you are level 21+. It would be very nice to be able to earn heroic hearts while at heroic levels, but that has never been part of the game.

Except tokens are BTA, so you could transfer however many you wanted to any of your toons and then buy the hearts on the toons that need them.
