    Default Looking for build advice

Hey guys, how are you? I came here asking for advice on a couple builds: My brother and i want to play together, with complementary characters. I want to play a human, light monk and he wants to play a warforged artificer (caster, if possible). We both have 32 point builds and epic destinies, but i'm not sure how to build those. I read the forums, but apparently my search fu it's not that good. Anyway, at the moment we can't afford tomes, so i wouldn't count on these for feat prereq. Thanks for any help, see you around!

I'll start off by saying there isn't much synergy to be had between a human light monk (fleshy with fleshy heals) and a warforged artificer (construct with repairs). but if that is your wish....

    just a few questions:
does he want to be a xbow + rune-arm arti, or a melee one?
do you have a preference between wraps, qstaff, and shortswords? or would you prefer a ranged monk with a bow?

It's less about synergy, and more about who can kill more than the other xD. He'd rather use xbow, and i love handwraps. Thanks for the quick reply!

Light monk buffs - namely free blur & -25% SP costs - will always be welcome. Beyond that, it's basically "every brother for himself!"

my classic light monk is as follows:
    str 15
    dex 15
    con 14
    int 8
wis 16 -> lvl up here until 23 base
    cha 8

This also requires a +2 dex tome by lvl 9 and a +2 wis tome by lvl 21, not to difficult to obtain.

    Feats:
    1) stun fist, twf, toughness*
    2) power attack
    3) cleave, path of light
    6) great cleave, improved sunder
    9) itwf
    12) improved crit: bludgeon
    15) gtwf
    18) choice
    21)vorpal strikes
    24) improved martial arts

For a human light monk, have a look at EllisDee's build; it's intended to be a solo challenge farmer, but should also work great in a duo. Since you're short on tomes, I would start 14 / 16 / 14 / 8 / 16 / 8 for base stats; +1s are a lot cheaper to come by than +2s (or worst case you put lvl 8 stat pt into DEX to meet ITWF pre-req).

For a classic (ranged+caster) WF pure arty, here's an updated version of the build I used for mine.
    Code:

But it's easy enough to swap around Enhancements and maybe swap out a couple of feats (e.g., trade Heighten for Toughness) if/when the SLAs stop being useful.
