Seems a bit excessive to me. Sure folks who didn't get their 20th reward should be compensated but I guess they can't determine who that is. But giving these weapons out like this? really? I don't like it..

hey, keep in mind that was gonna happen w/o turbine giving away the weapons, be happy that at least u have 1 w/o farming lol

since that is the 2nd worst raid in the game(only behind of titan) turbine makes us a really big favor

but ppl keep complaining for everything U_U

also, if they give the option to choose item from EVERY raid ingame, they would be messing it badly

dunno in other servers but in thelanis u can see plenty raids every day, if in ur servers u don't see much citw, give thanks again, now u can get comms from fot, faster and easier

Well this will open up Pandora's box for sure.

If I know Turbine correctly they probably all ready have raiders chests lined up for each and every raid out there.
And a barter box in which you can choose what raiders chest you would want isn't that hard to make?

Most peeps probably all ready have one or multiple weapons from that raid.

Tell that to the guys who spent $100 in raid timer bypasses to farm CitW for those weapons, now any lvl 16 newbie who did 1 Shroud run since U19 will be getting one.

I personally don't mind because I haven't farmed CitW, but for those who did, it's a stab in the back just like the changes that made old epic items irrelevant (e.g. 5-piece epic Abishai set, Claw set ...).

Hmm i never subscribed to the idea that if someone can get something i got in an easier way it diminishes my achievement in any way, especially not if it's like more than a year after the release of the raid.

If you play a long-running MMO your stuff that was once awesome that maybe took forever and a day to get will eventually be (a) irrelevant (b) easy to get (c) both.

There are some concessions that could be made to mitigate the impact, but there's going to be an impact. I've got a few sets of old dragonscale armor - before it was cheaper and way before they were essentially pennies on the AH / ASAH. Kinda sucks, kinda not - since you should expect it. Things change, that carrot moves forward and it doesn't matter how many times you tagged the carrot in the past the new goal is different.

I also have a car with a tape deck in it. My wife's car has radio controls on the steering column. Insanity, and completely unfair.



I'm not against some concessions for completionists or triples or even past multi-TR folks - but I wouldn't be surprised or upset if it doesn't happen.

Exactly. And I need more than one thing from CitW for each of my characters, so I'll still be running CitW

True for me. I had given up on getting the exact weapon I want. Now that I will have it, I will definitely be looking to raid more in order to get the comms. For some reason I have pretty good luck with those.

So for me, this idea drives me to raid, it doesn't drive me away (in contrast to many of the posts here).

It really should be any raid so the loot is spread out a bit more instead of CITW lopot only now the amount of people running CITW is gonna plummet if it included more rasids (but still can only choose one item) that the affect on raiding will be lessened and the people who don't need anything out of CITW aren't boned. AT least include titan so somebody can actually get some loot from there to pretend it drops :P Seriosuly though I vote Demon Queen

They didnt pay to get the weapon, they paid to get it before most other people had it. Now that the raid is over a year old, the "I got it first" ship has sailed.

Because I spent months farming CITW on my main, with about 80+ runs on a single toon looking for one weapon in particular.
And I never pulled it, and it didn't show up in 3 of my 20th lists. And I never got my 4th 20th because Turbine broke my build, broke my toon, and broke 20th reward lists; I was forced to TR.

The idea of farming CITW again for Cleaver this life was so repulsive after all of this that I'm actually putting it off and planning on TRing again into a build that I actually want Cleaver for.

2) you must run at least one raid since u19 (tempest and market raid excluded)

It's one or the other, not both. So if you have TR'ed since U19, your good.

If you have ran a raid other than Chrono or Tempest Spine since U19, your good.

No hint at a release date as of yet.

Transferred my 7 year old barbarian over the Lamma-land last weekend. She hasn't been in a quest for 3 or 4 years, let alone a raid, yet still had a raider's box available.

Just tossing that out there.
