I just crafted an everbright shard so my stick fighter would have an ooze beater. I never remember that Everbright has a blinding flash feature, so when I went to move it to the bank, I spent two minutes wondering why I had a stack of 3 Everbright shards, and trying to split them before transferring. Then I remembered. And this isnt' the first time something like this has happened, so here's my suggestion:

If the item is stackable, put the number in the stack on the RIGHT, like it is now.
If the item has charges/limited number of uses, put that number on the LEFT side.
