No, and I did think that was part of the problem (I do have a shield, not heavy armor). I know you recommend blue dragonscale armor, I am not sure how hard it would be to get that many scales though, and since I'll be playing a different class next level I may just have to be a bit gimpy.
I'll check the AH, maybe they aren't as expensive any more.. and I guess I could use them on a future FvS life?
Appreciate the reminder.
Well I soloed Mired in Kobolds yesterday on elite, bad gear and all (used a hire, though it was a low level one). Even got mama dragon half dead before I ran out of SP and decided it wasn't worth chugging pots.

Thanks.
Just hit 17, switched to ice elemental form. I am still lagging in the damage department and finding the cold spells a bit slow when in groups... before I get three CC ticks, the mob is dead. The only spells I have that do big damage fast are Call Lightning and WoB.
I am probably suffering from poor gear at this point. The heroic levels move so fast, and I switch classes so fast, that it doesn't make sense to put a ton of resources into specific gear, especially the stuff requiring challenge materials.
But it's still a great build and fun to play, and looking forward to using my gimped version of it at epic.
maybe i missed it, but do you have ice/elec lore anywhere in here?

yvw I'm glad you're liking the build! Your sp woes are a common sentiment among those newer to druid. One of the pitfalls that newer druids often fall into is that they want to single target everything with Greater Creeping Cold. GCC is an awesome spell, but if you use it on everything you will find yourself sad and manaless quite fast. The trick to mana conservation on druid is to leverage the efficiency of your AOEs like Ice Storm and Storm of Vengeance. Twisting Energy Burst Cold is also a huge mana saver. I also like to twist Consecration for more cheap AOE dps. Kite groups of mobs together (as many as you are comfortable with) and pound them with your own personal hurricane of AOEs; Ice Storm, Storm of Vengeance, Earthquake, Sleet Storm, etc, will neutralize the bulk of the threat from almost any mobs, even on ee. Then toss a double shot of Sunburst and blind them too. Make sure you're running in water form so that you can benefit from Mantle of the Icy Soul, which among other things, will slow mobs affected by your cold spells like Ice Storm. Another handy tip to conserve mana is to turn off maximize and empower for Earthquake. EQ doesn't do much damage, so isn't worth applying those metas to. It's the knockdown ability, not the damage that is important with EQ. Renewal and Rejuvenation Cocoon are nice low cost healing options too.
Generally speaking, EH quests should be a breeze for this build. If you're interested in seeing something to compare too, check out a recent video I did on Scaryspyce, which is the first life toon that I used in my first life guide to the build. In EE Legend Revisited (aka Epic Legend of Two-Toed Tobias) I take this first lifer through it solo at L27 and she doesn't even have Energy Burst yet, no past lives, modest gear, incomplete destinies and modest stat tomes.
I also did another video recently of EE Old Grey Garl on another druid I have named Azzalia. Azzalia is a clone of Gingerspyce, but with only 4 total past lives, so a big difference there compared to Ginger. This is a video I did to supplement a recent discussion on the forums where another druid felt like his AOE's weren't stacking up well vs. EE mobs. Hopefully this will give you some good metrics to compare and help you with some course corrections so that you can use your spell point pool more efficiently!
Good luck and I am happy to answer any other caster druid questions you have

Hello, I am fairly new to DDO. The kicker is, I cannot afford to play VIP.
I love your Druid and your personal game skills.. Thank you for showing us.
Question, Would you be able to build me a Druid max lvl 20.
IE: specific spells & specific feats as well specific Enhancements?
I see that you have all kinds of amazing gear and stuff, which I think I probably won't
have the luck or the chance to get.
Yes most likely I will be soloing...
Thank you...
Ziabis

I hit level 20 a few weeks ago... and then have had to take the last few weeks off. So I am a "baby epic" now. I need to retool and regear for epic, and I want to participate in the new Mabar-not-Mabar that's launching (today?).
I know at epics you spec for cold/electric but with undead the main targets should I respec as fire? Any suggestions for a good ED for this event?
Thanks.
Hey Zi!
The good news is that this project is already done! I'm copying and pasting some of this from the op...
I have a video series that demonstrates the first-life effectiveness of the build. All the videos are narrated and in each video I go over what the gear, spells, feats and enhancements look like for the level range I'm doing. This series will be valuable for anyone that is new to druid and interested in any kind of druid caster/healer. For the project I made a new toon "Scaryspyce" and through level 20 I solo everything on elite, including some of the most difficult heroic content, without using any ability tomes, store pots/buffs, hirelings, green steel or raid loot.
Check out the series on my Youtube channel at: A Beginner's Guide to the Gingerspyce Pure Druid Caster/healer/Quasi-tank Build
You will also find a link in the op to a spreadsheet of gear I used for the project. While you may not be able to gather every piece of gear I used if you are f2p, you should be able to find suitable substitutes and the series and spreadsheet should set you on a good path of how to progress.
I hope you enjoy the build and I am happy to answer any questions you have

Spells like Ice Storm (which partly does untyped bludgeoning damage) and Storm of Vengeance will still be very effective against almost any undead. You also have Sunburst, earthquake, energy burst (cold will still affect a lot of undead), etc. that will still help. If you're in a situation where you feel you need to do a lot of fire damage, change to fire ele form, use body of the sun and fire trap, fire seeds trap, flame strike and wall of fire. Sunbeam is also a nice single target spell vs. undead. You shouldn't need to respec. I haven't run the new event, but I've heard and I don't expect it to be particularly difficult. Also a good time to get your epic cloak of flames if you don't already have

Thanks Ginger.
I literally hit 20 and never even epic'ed the character before I got called away on other projects. So I need to get my epic gear on. You think I should stick with cold/lightning rather than fire? Whenever I see undead I think of fire.
What's a good ED for this? I have them all maxed, I was thinking something to help me do more damage rather then US for defense.

I updated the PRR and MRR in the OP to reflect the changes from today's balance pass.
PRR went from 178 to 161
MRR went from 111 to 81
What I don't understand is according to the old PRR formula vs. the new for heavy armor, it seems like I should have higher PRR after the balance pass.
The old formula was that heavy armor gave 6+BAB in PRR. With the new formula it gives 2*BAB in PRR. My BAB is 19. 6+19=25. 2*19=38. Can anyone clarify plz?
