how much hit is to much hit?

I am level 20 with 56 hit standing before attack chain bonuses or 51 with power attack on at +5 weapons. I was wondering if dropping over sized weapon fighting would be feasible. My armor destruction from my acid spells takes off an additional 8 ac and well as access to acid fog for a total of 12. I have never had a problem hitting things since leveling and have had no problems hitting things up to CR 39 so far. I stand to gain even more hit as make my way up to 28 and get out of +6 quality gear and get 2 +8 weapons. Is over sized weapon fighting even worth it for me at this point?

Probably not. You could easily drop it for pretty much any other feat and come out ahead.
