Someone was asking for 5 mill plat in the marketplace, I offered 4 and it was a no deal. Not sure that helps.

The exact price asked would make me suspicious about a scammer. 5 million is more than the plat cap. I would be glad to pay a plat cap for on otto's box (or even 3 or 4 such trades; PM me if interested, traveling though and won't be on DDO again until the weekend though), which is around 4.9 million. But when you make plat trades larger than that you open yourself up to someone having to hand over the goods first.
