Old Bard needs fixing

Hey,

i have just come back from a 18 month break and want to update my Bard to something that's good for the game today.

I'm happy to TR but want to stay with Bard with a splash. My current setup is a TWF khopesh, 18 Bard, 2 Fighter Warchanter.

I want to stay TWF with Khopehes as I have some nice ones. Epic Chaos Blades, GS Mineral, Lightning Strike, Trap the Soul etc.

i also have a set of Epic red Dragonhide (light).

I've read that a Cleric level works, with either Rogue or Fighter. Lots of feats to consider with Khopesh and TWF.

Please help.

Where do you feel you are lacking?

Have you tried out the Epic Levels with Epic Destinies (is that an option for you? EDs being a purchase aspect that is)

I think with the new enhancement system you may find more options for your melee focused Bard and I'm not sure what a cleric level will do for you...

Good question, had to think about that

It's probably more about being a bit lost with all the changes and thought a TR with build improvements would get me back into the feel of things.

I do have the latest updates with Epic Destinies etc.

The Cleric level was with reference to Divine Might and the strength boost.

18 / 1 fighter / 1 cleric should work fine.

Fighter: Khopesh
Normal: TWF, ITWF, GTWF, Improved Crit, Power Attack, Quicken, Empower Healing ... human adds Extend or Force of Personality or whatever.

The key is that you can drop the 2nd fighter level, snag cleric and since you don't *need* toughness you're even on feats.
