Recognition of Ron's efforts and contribution

As DDO isn't paying the man, and his character planner has proved invaluable to players for many years now, I believe some sort of lasting in game recognition of his efforts and contribution is in order.

Was thinking maybe the mindflayer in charge of feat swaps should be named Ron, the friendly mindflayer.

the only argument I can think of against it is that Ron may not be a suitable name for a mindflayer.... unlike Fred :P

Don't know about the mindflayer, after all that fred has learned by nibbling on our brains over the years I'm not sure we want to anger him, knowledge is power and all of that.

in other game i played group of folk who proved great effort in anniversary event were rewarded by giving their toon nice shiny halo above their head.

and yeah, such effort as Ron showed should be prized - signed ten times

But perhaps not to rename Fred? The whole point of the planner is to AVOID trips to friendly mindflayers ...

If anything actually happened, it would presumably have to be a new NPC, such as a helpful trader in an explorer zone.

And does anyone know why Fred is named Fred?
