Well, this is a crazy idea. But it's alot of fun and suprisingly effective, even if it does seem to cause alot of lag.

One idea I had was Shiradi monkcher archmage: monk 6 / wiz 12 / rgr or ftr 2. The idea was to alternate between Manyshot, 10K Stars, and Magic / Chain Missile SLAs to try to max out your Shiradi procs. U19 makes this idea a little more feasible; elven Grace means you can dump-stat STR if you wish, while changes to AM/PM trees means you don't need any Spell Focus feats and can mix in undead forms if you want. Between Echoes of Power, Feywild Tap, Soul Magic, and possibly Moonbow, you have access to a lot of free SP regen. The main drawback are the AP costs involved; I'm not certain you could afford to pick up everything you would need for this build.

Never made it past the theory-crafting stage, though, not even on Lama, so no idea how well it works in reality.

I thought about deeper splashing as well. However, without the need for feat pre-reqs for PREs, not having any DC feats and wizzy bonus feats I got just about everything I wanted with just the 2 ranger splash. It also allowed me the "out" of being a +3 heart away from going back to the original build in case this was terrible, lol. Haste boost from Ftr or Rog splash would be nice tho. I got to play around soloing a few of the easier epics just getting a feel for things. It is pretty much as you said, lots and lots of shiradi procs. So much in fact it really lagged me out and I had to set my graphics from very high to medium. (It is a brand new video card of about 2 weeks use). It was alot of procs on alot of targets (making use of IPS) so I think it just took it's toll. I never experienced shiradi lagging me out that bad before I LR'd her. (She was preious pure wizzy that was DC focused in Magister for EN/EH and had Shiradi capped for EEs). It was really fun watching the whole map blow up though, hehe.

You're also spot on about the enhancements. Between Soul Magic and Moonbow, it was alot of temp SP procing. I never went below 3/4 mana. The enhancements are very tight however. I did originally want to remain a PM, but between Arcane Archer and Elf Tree it ate up the majority of points, leaving a few for AM Slas (up to core three for MM, Gust of Wind and Chain Missiles).

All in all it's a pretty fun build, I will tinker around some more and try and post more details on what enhancements I took, etc.

I really like the idea of a build like this but haven't quite figured out a way to make it really good yet. Full time archery is out of the question for the same reason that it is for every other build and Tenser's has such a terrible cooldown penalty which badly hurts casting after Manyshot is up.

I do like the higher (16+ lvls) wiz splits though. Might be considerably better with divine power scrolls rather than Tenser's since outside of MS dps is terrible with a bow and the Tenser lag is a minimum of 46 seconds.

Hmm, I'll have to try DP out, pretty sure I've got some clickies somewhere. I did like Tensers for more then just the BAB increase but I can see your point. I'll have to look into it.
