elf is alright for extra pointblank shot range
human is nice for heal amp and damage boost
helf is great if you have extra ap to spend or dont have the umd for heal scrolls

as far as level splits go 12 monk/6 ranger/2 fighter is probably your best bet, but as long as you have 6 ranger and 6 monk you cant really go wrong

I really like 2 Arti. Helf. You can go cleric dillie for heal scrolls until your UMD is high enough(with Arti levels it will get there quick), then switch to Rogue dillie for SA dmg. The 2 Arti also gives you some boost on your scrolls, heal scrolls hit way higher. You also get a +1 to your weapon buff and have a lever puller(dog.. er puppy) when soloing.

~85% ranged with excellent melee ability (I went staff b/c AP are WAY too tight to get both tempest and shintao off-hand enhancements, plus I already had a Sireth)

Overwhelming Critical

50% displacement, 25% incorporeal, 30% dodge, and I'm seeing 90+ AC and even some PRR, which is good because this thing draws aggro like you would not believe.

There was some criticism about starting with only 10 CON, but with that kind of defense, especially as a ranged build, I think ~600hp at lvl 25 is fine.
