Default At Level elite Shroud run

Hi, I have, in the past few weeks returned to the game, and have gotten a new character up to shroud ready status, and I would like to do what I used to do way back when: Have my first shroud run on a character be an at level elite run. It is fun, and it is challenging (for some). I tried starting an LFM, and it just didn't fill. I don't know if everyone who might have gone was just busy, or if people still have an inordinate amount of fear of the blades, so I came here.

I will be making an LFM at ~8:00 pm (-8 gmt) each night till it fills for my character named Badram. I am hoping this post will help it fill sooner rather than later. Hope to see you all tommorow. I'll reserve spots for anyone who asks me to.

Edit: The level range for Bravery bonus will be 17-19. I intend to run it at that and it will take me about a week of trying to give up and open it up more.

Edit: Having voice is optional, but being able to hear instructions over voice will be important. Co-ordination trivializes the blades that everyone seems so afraid of, in my experience.

Edit: I will be bringing extra pots for healers that end up needing them or to replace ones that healers use.

Edit: I am willing to bring along people who have never run it before as long as they are willing to listen and learn.

    8pm Pacific?

If I can get flagged by then (just hit 18, haven't started vale yet) I'll be there.

Kazuaru, melee druid/monk/thingy. Incapable of healing more than myself.

Might have a couple of guildies available as well.

When you say "at level", do you mean characters up to and including level 20? Or are you trying to maintain a Bravery Bonus?

Only reason I ask is that I just leveled up to 20, and had the same experience as you. The general consensus on Sarlona seems to be that it's better to fill fast with 18-28 level toons than to try to either run it short handed or wait 2-3 hours to fill.

I believe 8pm GMT is right around my lunch time - let me know if a level 20 is acceptable.

I am trying to get bravery on this. If I can't manage it in the first week (I level really slowly, don't make fun of me lol, side effect of having 20 characters) I'll probably open up the level range.

No mockery here - I try to enjoy the journey myself.

However, I've noticed that dropping the BB makes the leveling speed up...

One won't lose BB streak by opening up to the higher level chars.

But it's always nice to see people trying to run it at level elite.

I know opening the level range up would speed it up lol. I got dozens of tells telling me so last night in response to my LFM before I posted this thread lol. People seemed almost offended, in a "how dare he" sort of way, that It wasn't 18-28.

To be specific for those who don't know it by heart, bravery bonus on shroud is going to be levels 17-19. Will post that in the OP, along with a bit more info.

I think it would be 6 pm for you (you are -6 gmt).

Edit: Sorry it is 10pm not 6pm.

The blades stopped being a complaint once turbine dialed them back down a while ago.

    Welcome back, and good luck!

Okay, time for an update, tonight the party actually filled and we were doing well till part four round 2. Someone got impatient and touched off a wail, killing all the trash in the middle of the party, spawning several blades among us and killing off all the heals. Will try again tomorrow, hopefully with less of that.

Just a bump and a reminder that I'll be putting this LFM up again tonight.

So last night the LFM filled fairly quickly and we got in there, beat down the portals, and got to part two. We had a rather unlucky pick of fire/cat/orc/trog. And we had a rather unlucky pick of a guy who decided he really really liked playing part two forever. Wouldn't listen, wouldn't respond. Group broke up after 30 minutes in part two alone, and every blue bar empty. Will try again tonight.

Managed to get flagged over the course of the weekend. I'll see about building some DR breakers and maybe join you.

So last night we filled and got to part four then wiped. No blame to pass out, we just couldn't handle it. Might have been lag, don't know. Tonight will be my last try before I move on.
