    Default Monster Manual Addition/Change

    Getting to see monster Hit Points is a pretty poor reward for gaining Expertise.
    1 - It's not all that useful.
    2 - Showing us how over-inflated the hit points are was a poor idea.

    I suggest that in addition, you make the following changes:

    On Expertise gain: Since it's server-wide thing, all characters should receive a X Expertise Feat. This feat is similar to (and stacks with) Ranger Favored Enemy, in that it provides a +1 bonus to attack, damage, AC, and skill checks against those creatures.

    On all Character Deeds achieved: That character receives a X Slayer Feat that stacks with he Expertise-based feat.

    And yes, it needs to be retroactive, in the form of envelopes in the inventory if necessary.

    The HP of mobs is a nice touch, so I'll disagree about it being "not all that useful."

    Personally, I'd rather see players gain 1XP per kill once all the Account Deeds are done. It's such a minor boost to XP gained, yet it would continue to be useful even after players have filled out the Monster Manual completely. (And it's not like the Devs are going to update the Monster Manuals with new XP rewards as the game expands and more mobs are added, as we've already seen with a glutton of Human mobs.)

    I don't foresee the Devs giving players more damage against mobs via the Monster Manual. All I have to do to prove this is to point to the KOTC tree. The Devs kneecapped paladins by merging KOTC and HOTD without merging the fiendslayer and undead slayer, even as a capstone. With the Devs refusing to give such a small DPS boost for a class like Paladins, I'm sure it will never happen with the Monster Manuals.

    Default Monster Manual 4 (and 5)

    I got all Monster Manuals, but still I find no entries for:

    Clay Golems,
    Dragons,
    Drows (!),
    Duergars,
    Flesh Renders,
    (non Hill) Giants,
    Hounds,
    Iron Defenders (!),
    Iron Golems,
    Ogres,
    Orcs (!),
    Sorrows (maybe I mispelled these, they are the cursed half Drow/Scorpions),
    Specters,
    Water Elementals,
    and
    Will O'-the-Wisps

    And these are just the types I encountered in the game so far which aren't in the manuals. When do you plan to add these (and more) to the game?

    You're just scratching the surface. There's tons of mobs missing that can be added to future editions...
    * Air Elementals
    * Animated Objects
    * various Devils
    * various Demons
    * Doomspheres (cosmetic pet please)
    * Efreeti
    * Gnolls
    * Hags
    * Half-Orcs
    * Hell Hounds
    * Hyenas
    * Inanimate Objects
    * Liches
    * Medusas
    * Mind Flayers
    * Mummies
    * regular Panthers
    * Plants
    * Purple Worms
    * various Quori
    * Shades
    * Shadows
    * Tieflings
    * Vampires
    * Werewolves
    * Wheeps
    * Wights
    * Wildmen
    * Yugoloths

    I could go on with others, but I'm starting to only think of mobs less likely to appear since the number of unique mobs are so small, such as the various Fey mobs, Cubes, Mudmen, Lizardfolk, Quells, etc...

    ===

    But I have to agree with you it's about time for a new MM. The first new edition of the MM took about 6 months and/or 2 updates to be released. It's now been over 6 months and we're heading into 3 updates with no new Monster Manual. It seems like it's due for a new one in the next update.

    Unless this is another system developed and dropped by Turbine because of bad sales and/or the Dev got bored with it. There's a good chance that both might have happened, as other such systems have just stopped appearing in the past...

    And if true, there's a good chance we'll never hear a peep about it from the Devs again if that's true. Let's face it, the Devs still haven't corrected a good chunk of the mobs that should appear in the MMs (even if you don't count the double spawned mobs, like the Necro4 and Mephits).

    Also, they have never fixed the problem with Tomes of Learning and XP potions not working with the MM, even though they claimed to have fixed it over a year ago. I guess if the VIP xp boost works, it's good enough for them, even though its VIPs that get the MM for free while Premiums have to buy them.
