Default The Bee52, a Heal Bomber build. (Sun Elf)

Hiya all, here is an Iconic Sun Elf build I have made on live, it's a bit of a jack of all trades but is meant to be a substitute for a healer that also brings decent Ranged DPS, passable EVO DCs and some decent buffs such as Deadly Weapons etc.

So Sun Elfs, yeah what are they good for, they seem to be a funny sort of iconic with the cleric starting class yet are INT based, so taking this into account I thought I would try and build something that makes use of everything the sun elf has to offer, so I give you the Bee52:

    Cleric 1, Artificer 18, Ranger 1.

    Start Stats:
    Str 8
Dex 16 (+3 tome for IPS)
Int 18 - All Level ups to INT.
    Con 14
    Wis 8
    Cha 10

    1. Cleric
    2. to 19. Arti
    20. Ranger

    Feats as they fit:
7 Normal: Toughness, Empower Healing, Mental Toughness, Precise Shot, IMP Crit Ranged, Rapid Shot, IPS at Lvl 18.
    4. Arti: Precise Shot, Empower, Quicken, Maximise

    Enhancements:
    Morning Lord
Full Core Line of Morninglord, Granting 10 metres to PBS and two INT.
Rejuvenation to 2 and Blessing to 3, nets two total heals per rest and 3 uses of Mass AID, Spell Resistance and Death Ward per rest.
    Arcanum 3 for 100 sp.

    Deepwood
Core 1, another 5m to PBS making 15 metres total bonus.
Full empathy Line from Tier 1 for 75 Positive Spellpower.

    Radiant Servant
    Core 1
Maxed, Divine Cleansing, Altruism and Wand Mastery

    Arcano:
Enough points spent in tree for Core 5 Critical admixture, Including +2 Int and SP bonuses etc.

Rest of points tov be spent as you see fit, I put mine into Battle Engineer.

Basically the build brings some excellent healing (especially once you have critical admixture) coupled with some decent xbow damage and buffs.
Its not a basic do nothing heal build that will heal party members without you being active.

More to come about post 20 once I have done some.
    Toons:
Smallmans Syndrome, Rovac, Dragnipur, Prettyhater Machine, Lubed, Castinfist
Emmpeethree, Hyperkill Hyperthrill and Greyvegas (All on Khyber)

Nice this is pretty much the build I was thinking of when my friend wanted to play my Arty18/Bard1/Ranger1 but wanted some more healing focus so I swapped out Bard (which was mainly taken for fascinate) for Morninglordlord1 the combo with the bonus ranger positive spellpower is quite potent. (I still prefer the Bard version though)

Arcano Technician (I really wish it was Arachno technician which is how I misread it originally :P) is an awesome Prestige tree, unfortunately though Battle engineer is fairly bland and despite Endless Fusilade being badass everything else is kinda meh so your right not to focus on it.

Oh wait Tharmaturgical battery is a stupid ability :P I view it as the annoying pre-req for crit admixture and lightning bolt

Yeah I understand the bard version, but at the end of the day I wanted to make something that made use of everything the base sun elf (morninglord) had to offer.

As I can see it there is a few other splits but for me the base of 1 Morninglord, 18 Arti is the starting point, there is obviously the options of not taking the Ranger level and going Bard, another Cleric level or fighter or monk for an additional feat.

I still think with the aims of the build, basically to be a cleric that also brings a different set of party buffs has ranged DPS that is near equivalent to any other Arti (But healing that is far superior) and pretty decent DCs for blade barrier, the 1/18/1 ranger is the best split I could find. Ohhh yeah and it traps too forgot about that hehe.

If going the bard version, the leveling order would have to change to 1cleric/1bard/18Arti but I don't see any issues with that.

Levelling the build at the moment and find it is surprisingly fun, I have some thoughts of where I take it at end game, thinking about ending up in Shiradi , with maxed Healing Spring and Twisted Cocoon, but theres also the option of looking at Shadowdancer at netting evasion, a fair bit more INT and quite a bit more sneak attack to go with the extended PBS/sneak attack range.

Okay, time to stop being dead now.

Do you think you would be able to make an updated version of this build? (Currently I'm sifting through all class/race enhancements to try making my own variant of this build)

With the Harper tree, I see a lot of potential for something of a redo (unfortunately I do not have Harper, nor do I intend to get it anytime soon.)
And with that 1 Cleric level you get heavy armor prof, which you can use with Arti infusions without risking spell failure. That adds a lot to survivability, especially with Shadow Guardian Shadowplate.

I have to make a Iconic to run challenges and my best bet is either druid or Arty simply for the extra combatant (Wolf or Defender) so i think this is definitely a good option (although I'll prob put a few levels ups in Dex since I don't have an extra tome lying around)

I'll probably change the level order to Cleric1, Arty 2-13, Ranger 14, Arty 15 since this character probably won't level much (only meant for farming challenge stuff)

Oh and my friend is quite enjoying the Arty18/ML1/Bard1 so thanks for that too
