Default Have to double click EVERYTHING?

Since the new update I've had an issue with all of my characters wherein I have to double-click to activate anything like doors/mailboxes/NPCs/etc. Trying to right-click select targets is difficult, and combat is next to impossible. They just swing once unless I click repeatedly, even with Auto-Attack on. I uninstalled and re-installed with no improvement, and finally was able to access the account on another computer, which played just fine. Seems obvious something is up with that computer/the settings, but how do I know what to look for? Anyone had that sort of problem before? I'm afraid I'm not very computer savvy.

In your documents folder, there is a folder named "Dungeons and Dragons Online", with a ini file inside (plus your screenshots and a ddo.keymap file).

I don't know for sure, but try to remove these 2 files, UserPreferences.ini and ddo.keymap to another folder. If this works, delete them later. Worse that can happen is, you need to configure your key bindings again, if you had any other than the default layout.

I didn't had that problem after the update, but I would try this in your place. If it doesn't work, can always move your files back to where they were.

Default Double-Click solution for Mac OSX

The files are in a slightly different location for Mac / OSX.

The UserPreferences.ini is in ~/Documents. But the ddo.keymap is in ~/Library/Application Support/com.turbine.dndclient instead.

After examining the contents, I'm pretty sure removing UserPreferences.ini won't have any effect. The ddo.keymap is the important one.

Instead of removing the files, you can also use the "Default" button under the "Key Mapping" button in Options. That's faster than all this file manipulation. However, saving the file gives you a chance to diff them, find the issue, and keep your custom keybinds.

As this is the first hit for "DDO double click" in Google, I figured I'd provide a little boost for Mac users.

i NEED to know why i must double click all of a sudden; i'm currently adjusting my key mapping/binding and this has happened seemingly randomly many times. i don't want to have to reset everything i've been mapping; this is a frustrating process as it is. ***!?
