Stuck on "installing pre-reqs" when launching game...

Yep.

I was on an hour ago, logged off for a bit, now unable to log in again.

Before I restarted the launcher it just hung and eventually gave me a connection time out. Now, the launcher won't even open - hangs on installing pre-reqs.

Me. The launcher is not working anymore. It's stuck at "Installing pre-reqs".

edit: And... Looks like it is sever side. Turbine is having issues at the cluster/log in level.

gls.ddo.com is dead.

Do a ping trace (I use ping plotter)

Me too. Was playing fine. Quit to switch characters (unplayable lag if I don't) and now can't get back in.

Been playing all afternoon. No problems. Kill the client to clear the memory leak and now I'm stuck on the installing prereqs page on the launcher.

I've tried it couple times, same result.

Guess I'll try a computer restart and see if that helps, but really doubt it.

Can we get some word on what the problem is?

1. People still logged in are still playing.
2. Anyone logged out cannot log in.
3. We can still log in to the forum.
4. tracert makes it all the way into DDO's network, then times out.
