Between DDO being down, and my A/C going out, guess which one I'm actually bothered by?

Perspective, guys. Bad things happen. Not being able to play for a day is not the end of the world, no more than it is a reason to abandon DDO and Turbine.

Chill. Watch some tv. Go outside. Play another game. Tomorrow will come, and things will be fixed.

Not really; their "vip" (called Patron) gives you bonuses in the game. Even FTP folks have full access to all content. Makes for more active zones, warfronts (which are completely optional, as are all PvP features), adventures, etc.

You could perhaps stop telling people to leave the game every time they express dissatisfaction. You are not doing Turbine any favors, nor yourself, in the long run.

Why? If people are truly upset as they pretend to be on the forums, then leaving the game is the only sane thing left for them to do. No sane person continues to engage in something that effects them so deeply that they lash out the way some of these people do.

Also, most of my, leave the game and find something different posts are in response to people upset that their horrible design decisions are not implemented in game, while they can be found in 1000 other inferior games. If I'm left with the two choices a.) horrible design being implemented and b.) horrible design not being implemented, person likeing that type of design choice finding the right fit for them, I'll always chose B.

This stuff is exactly why I stopped playing DDO and LotRO back in February. They had the servers offline for days on, I think Valentine's Day? And then I installed new games and MMOs and got involved with them. I came back and am trying to play again, and wham. I'm not a free player, but **** like this is why I'm not a subscriber. Ah well, back to some of the more reliable MMOs out there again.

Edit: Holy cow but that filter is oversensitive. I wasn't cussing. Well, this IS the same game that gave us Spell **** instead of Penetration, after all.

LOL, this is Priceless. I've been taking a few months off DDO due to all the unfixed bugs and the first time I come back and try to logon, this is going on. Good job Turbine.

I know things happen beyond the control of people and some things you don't expect or even have a plan for in case they happen. All this i can forgive and understand that &%&* happens. . It would be a nice gesture upon the part of Turbine if they would extend the bonus they had running this weekend and possibly giving everyone a free gold dice roll. Just as a "Hey we didn't see this problem coming and we're sorry that you weren't able to play etc. Just some type of acknowledgement to the players for their "Patience."
