The Bardcher Nerf

I, current leader off all chruchers, have to say that the overpowered build known as 'The Bardcher' suffered from a horrible nerf with the enhancements pass.
While I have always recommended to make such builds for easy quest completions, I will now no longer recommend it. Bard got a nerf and so did bardcher.

On a side note, I now expect everybody to make purple dragon knight melee sorcerers

Is this just a troll attempt or am I missing something? Usually complaints about nerfing this that or another are accompanied by WHY it's a nerf. You know, reasons and stuff like that.

I picked out new enhancements for my epic bard, and I'm quite pleased. *shrugs*

The reason the bardcher got nerfed, is because you can no longer combine efficient bard stuff (capering etc) with slaying arrows, as well as losing the regen of songs etc. The combination that made the build powerful can no longer be taken, henbce it's nerfed

How did you meet us, overpowered bardchers, in pugs as we used to be capable of soloing most content is a mystery to me. Maybe some of us were kind enough to pull others through some quests, yes, that is probably it.
It is also weird to hear from a person I didn't encounter on any achievements so far, please add a link or a screenshot to anything you consider an achievement, to at least state that you yourself aren't useless in a group.

Do you have a PDK/Sorc build suggestion? What's so special about it, I guess the cha to tactical feats? Elsewise almost everything good in PDK requires too much investment for your average sorc, unless you are going pure melee? I must be missing something, but I suck at building characters.

In all honesty I've built for and seen others play pretty damned good bardchers. The right person behind a build, especially a bard, can do amazing things. Who are you and I to say what people should not play?

Don't mind this guy, all he did with his uber bardcher was stand around in the lobster dancing random people or using furyshot. Also, please don't act like you designed this build, all you did was 'claim' it on the forums, it was around for a long time before you even made your toon, you just copied it from someone else. Not that it matters anymore though, it was an ok build at best before, now it just plain sucks.

Planktoneter, the original bardcher designed by me is 3 years old or older, not saying I'm the very first. But most of the bardchers seen afterwards got their build from me.
Besides from that, I'm the first one to post a detailed build on the forums, which may be why people think I 'claimed it'. Ranger bards existed before but that specific build is mine. Monkchers existed before Sithali claimed his Sithali build...

Besides from that, I don't hang out in pvp often since dots, even less after MoTU, I occasionally kill people there yes, but only when no questing to run. Abaranda won't lvl himself! And neither will my PDK melee sorcerer!!!!!

On a side note: I rerolled my bardcher in a 12 wizard/8 rogue elf AA mechanic archmage. Amazing toon!!!

Hi my name is Bowserkoopa I am a vocal anti-bardcher person here with an important message.

*cue amazing fireworks show*

That's right no longer apparently will you have to see whacky bards running around singing to mobs then carefully taking out their bows to shoot a line of mobs in order to kill them with multi-shot or even fury shot. Apparently according to the bardcher leader they have been nerfed! I'm not really sure how since my bard (who isn't a cher or a chrucher or in any way uses a bow) came out ahead and really I thought the combining of Spell Singer and Virtuoso worked out well. So now the 6 bardcher take over of Ghallanda is over, I can't tell you how many times I joined or lead a group thinking man wouldn't it be nice if a bardcher didn't show up to this raid/quest and now it seems that time has come where I need not fear the reaper...I mean bardcher.

I personally take credit for the nerf whatever it was so that I Bowserkoopa King of the Koopa's gain a new title that of savior of Ghall...wait I mean Evil Overlord of Ghallanda who saved you all from the bardchers.

Thank you Magikoopa for the firework show I'll be looking forward to you joining various raids in the near future to show off your new talents.

And with that evil minions I am off to find other things to defeat in the name of Evil.

Agreed that bardcher's got nerfed hard, which is rough since they definitely weren't overpowered.

I think that straight bard got a buff, since you can pretty much build a complete spellsinger/virtuoso and still have left over ap for either significant racial enhancements or warchanter enhancements.

Bardchers were the most OP pikers in the game, could pike their way through the hardest elite of the elite content in the game!
