    Default Named Picks

I like this build a lot. I have been wanting a pick user just for flavor and fun. And him being a dwarf is awesome.

What are some of the named or good high level picks that are available?

    Default Really like this build

I've been looking for a decent Dwarf TWF build for post-U19.2 - think I may give this a shot (possibly modifying for Daxes, since one of my characters has some pretty nice ones in his TR cache).

    Thanks for posting!

Well at 14 there's Deathnip and then later you have.... um... deathnip.

That's the downside of a pick build, no raid weapons for you. On the brightside, Deathnip is still competitive at those levels and you can start using your "endgame" weapon at 14. But if you need DR breaking, or situational damage, or blunt/piercing... or anything else you are SOL. You'll have to go outside your specialization and lose a ton of damage. Or you have to use a pick without the expanded threat range, and lose a ton of damage.

For Dr breaking the only route would be cannith crafting or Greensteel...perhaps

Lest we forget ye olde Lourde of Blades - There be Alchemical Picks in there!

And you're going to slap your forehead and kiss me after hearing this (especially after the thought of farming up 2 alchemical picks to full) - Cormyrian Heavy Picks - NOW at 1/4th the COST! A BARGAIN! - Can find some great shroud effects on those 2[1d6] weaps

8 fighter 10 monk 2 rogue without using the free+20LR

I did not get into epics with this build since it was a 20 and TR monk life but I did get to try Deathnips w/ Keen edge centered Greater Earth stance w/sting of the ninja

I was quite happy with the way it worked out

This build looks fun for sure
I have a similar 8/6/6 build and its definitely FUN! Well, she is a halfling with the dragonmark, so I slot'ed devotion into deathnip.
Best part, you don't need ANY stunning ability/feat/item to stun the mobs in EE with this build. Just go fury, and use anvil of thunder (tier 4) as the OP suggested. And the real fun begins when you start to stun mobs, even pure monks can't!

I have made a build also exactly like this, however I have focused on being a Dwarven Axe build.

I am curious about your saves.

At 25, saves are sitting at mid 40's with will save in particular lower then that.

So I curious at what folks have been doing to boost saves.

I have taken the tempest enhancements versus traps for boost to reflex save, currently sitting with +7 resistance augment.

Looking for ideas of what people have done to help their saves.

This build looks interesting. I have made 8/6/6 builds before but not using picks.

I am considering using PDK instead of dwarven and using the extra feat to add Daxes.

Other than that any suggestions or pitfalls??

    Thnx

This is more interesting now that picks are back as a top weapon with crafting.
