19 is a rough level. There are several options once you get to epic (Agony, Epic Spy Dagger, epic sands daggers, Sacrificial dagger).

Only named one here you have to look forward to is the Epic Midnight Greetings, which is the only item that adds to assassinate DCs and is from the Sentinels of Stormreach chain.

Other than that, you're in a dead zone - of course you can always craft (green steel, alchemical)
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane

    I've been using dual http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Guardian_of_the_Liturgy
the base damage is 1d10, gets the extra crit from the assassin dagger/kukri specialization, and has a red slot. I use the envenomed blades for cc when needed, but my go-to weapons of choice are the Guardians.

I would say a Radiance II kukri from the shroud is one of the best daggers/kukris you can wield at this level against common monsters(ie. anything that's not a redname/purplename, undead, non-warforged construct or an ooze), provided you have the imp. crit for it. If you have imp.crit for piercing, use a dagger instead for slightly reduced threat range.

Edit: Herp a derp. I forgot that knife specialization evens out the threat ranges between daggers & kukris. Either one should work just fine as a Rad II as long as you have improved critical for it.

Once you hit 20 then 2 sacrificial daggers will let you destroy most non-bosses in pretty short order - woowoos galore!
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

    My Rogue is currently using:
Agony, Epic Midnight Greetings, Sacrificial Dagger

My Rogue would like to use (but I'm lazy with crafting):
Triple Pos Kukris, Holy Burst Silver of Greater Evil Outsider Bane (haven't decided for Dagger or Kukri Yet; the former has an edge against Rakshasas, but against Trash, Agony should be better), Ancient Vukoorim Daggers (just for the fun in Tor).
Toons on Orien: Meinir // Flodur // Twiddler // Thorkar // Impetor // Juliacantor // Minor all Soko Irrlicht

for a low-level, easily acquired dagger, the Nightforge stiletto also boasts an expanded crit range. In the hands of a specialist with IC piercing, it is 14-20 crit x3.

Been using a pair on my level 14 assassin and they are lethal.

this dagger also gains improved heartseeker damage due to the knife specialization. Anyone up for an average damage per hit calc on it on unfortified mobs?

Take weapon finesse if I remember fight you can then apply the bonuses to finesse-able weapons.

That only lets you use dex to hit and damage which envenomed blades already have as a property. The increased crit range only works on daggers and the crit damage works on daggers/kukris

For an Assassin who is taking most the core abilities and the knife spec enhancement there is no need for Weapon Finesse.

I used the Ancient Vulkoorim Dagger (i want to make this epic for Giant Hold)slotted with acid and cold and a Guardian_of_the_Liturgy as my main weapon set for most things. When I was able to make Green Steel, then I made 2 Triple Pos Kukris for undead. A pair of Min IIs for DR breakers. Once you hit 20 it is hard to beat the sacrificial daggers. Blade of the High Priestess is also very nice. Agony once you hit level 23 (I think). Midnight greetings is worth farming for at 20.

Or you can just use the Sustaining Symbiont from Sane Asylum. It will negate the penalty from your Polycurse Dagger, Parasitic Breastplate, and any other U9/U10 gear you might use. And gives GFL, +1 eCON, and 10% eFortification as well.

Worked very well for me in the off hand until I hit 20 and could switch to eMNG. A very good way to make sure you are applying that SA damage without crafting a RadII, which would likely be out of reach for someone who's highest character is 19.
