Default How can I boost my spell points pool?

I recently used my LR+20 to turn my Horc 16 monk into a 14 cleric/2 monk Clonk. Everything seems fine except for my SP pool; it's around 900. I've seen other clonks with pools of 1200+ and I guess I did something wrong. Is there a way to boost my pool? I don't have any magi/wizardry items currently.

Greensteel Wiz6/Elemental Spell Power 150 goggles that people have had sitting around for ages, would be my guess. That's 300 mp in one slot that you're not getting.

Step #1: Get rid of the monk levels (sorry, had to )

immediate fixes: wizardry items, green steel, get your wisdom as high as possible, cleric enhancements that grant sp, etc.

and of course, sorc & fvs pastlives grant sp, but that's a different story.

there's a lot more you can do at endgame with EDs and such but I assume you're talking about heroics.

As people have said, grab the +300 greensteel item. However, if you have conc opp (get conc opp!), you'll have pretty much unlimited sp.
My cleric/monk/ranger is sitting at 1197 sp at level 17 (14 cleric levels), and typically finishes at 1197 sp. Unless the PUG requires healing. Then I'll finish with 1197-(30*people that need healing). Nothing says "I ain't healin'" like a raise after they die

    • Greensteel item +50/+100 Exceptional (stacking) SP
    • Wizardry/Magi/Archmagi item
    • Highest + Wisdom item
    • Wisdom via enhancements
    • Spell Points via enhancements
    • Feats (Mental Toughness, Improved Mental Toughness)
    • Racial Enhancements (Such as "Elven Arcanum")
    • Wisdom Tomes
    • Epic Destiny Wisdom increases
    • Epic Destiny spell point increases
    • Monk stances granting Wisdom (Ocean/Water stance)

My main is a Clonk (18/2). With 54 Wisdom, Greensteel +50/+150SP item, Wizardry (+225sp) item, and in Exalted Angel ED she's at around 2,500SP at level 26.

Farm up a Vibrant Purple Ioun stone using another (higher level) toon and pass it to your clonk. Flag your clonk for the Dreaming Dark and then pike on a casual farming run. Unsupress the ioun stone. +200 sp.

Greensteel. Triple air is a cheap option to boost spell points that doesn't require a lot of high level mats. Tier 3 air also has a haste clicky. That's up to 300 spell points right there, and the Vibrant purple stacks an additional 50 for +350 total.

Give up one of your feat slots for Mental Toughness. "Everyone" says Mental Toughness is a waste of a feat slot. For a first life/undergeared cleric (or clonk) "everyone" is wrong. Until you have a spellpoint greensteel, an archmagi item, your destinies ground out (with Rejuvenation Cocoon twisted) and Exalted Angel maxed, Mental Toughness is a priceless feat.

What's wrong with 900 sp..? I'm level 12 with only about 700sp, 9 cleric/2monk/1wiz, and I manage juuuust fine.. are you using SLAs?

Does the Ioun Stone stack with Wizardry?

For Epic lvls just get the WizWar commendation items. They are an easy substitute for Greensteel. Just use them to buff party and self then swap out for other more useful gear.

Magi items are easy find for ML10+.
    TOD belts. Archmagi items.

And then there is this solution to your mana issues. lol

Concentrated Mana pots are cheap at DDO store.

If you buy 100x at a time for about 500-700 spell points each. Any pots that are more or less points is over or underdone IMHO. These are the sweet spots on most toons. It also allow you to save your in game pots for other friends or accounts. They are BTA to split them up.
They are cheap at 6 cents each. If you buy DDO store points at 11,000 for $60 and then wait for them to go on sale for under 1200TP that is about 6 cents.

Think about it.... how much money that is!!!
for the amount of time to form a party, and run a quest we are talking sometimes an hour or so. To lose that time because you made some mistakes, got in over your head, the party sucks, or just want to get it done is worth the 6 cents or even more than that IMHO. It also gives you more flexibility and allows more diversity and fun for your builds. There are some times when the party does not deserve there use or it is not worth it also. You will get a feel for that, and what is right for you.

    It also supports the game.

Your lack of healing amp not my problem. Please buy and use your own remove curse pots in combat, so I don't waste mana. Not my job.
