A lot of peeps voiced their impression that epic level and similar items from older packs need some love. But this is a totally new attitude of spending time to rework stuff thats already on the brink of being outdated bymaking it worse...

I highly doubt it was targeted on purpose. Changed the effect of prefix/suffix X would be my guess. (That and Skiver sucks. Sorry.)

Skever was a cool item to have as status sign... now.. Meh.

But it does seem that Turbine is intent on turning all it's named items into Trash.

On the upside you can now find random loot with better spell lore....

Skiver didn't get quite the upgrade the rest of the items did from the turn-ins. I rarely see folks sporting Skiver now, but plenty of Fanions running around. It isn't well itemized anymore, crit% or no.

Plus, we're not incentivized to carry general crit items mostly. Maybe divines are, but arcanes are sure pushed to specialize.
