    Default Knife Specialization broken?

Has anyone been able to see if Knife Specialization is actually working? From what I can tell, at least for daggers, it doesn't seem to be affecting crit threat range OR multiplier.

I've seen it work on agony. You have to have the weapon actually equipped for it to show the change though.

I have tried Flint, Grievous Blade, and a few loot-gen daggers and have yet to see a change. I assume we should be able to see the change in the 'details' portion of the inventory window? All the daggers I have tried have still shown "19-20" and "x2". Could be a UI display issue on my end I suppose, but I am using the default skin. As far as kukris, I have 'Improved Critical: Slashing'(don't ask) and see no change, so I can't tell if it is not working, or if it is working but doesn't stack.

It probably is, because , tho im not testing daggers since my rogue is acrobat with staves (SO fun by the way :3 ), and currently at level 21 im using an Epic Souleater (19-20 x2 crit) and my UI shows still a 17-20 crit with IC: Bludgeon, even tho the tier5 staff enhancement increases threat range +1, BUT i have been staring at the dice when i attack the training dummy, for example, and my criticals are 15-20 ... im waiting to see if when i reach 23 my crits with Sireth will be 14-20 lol but i highly doubt that.

Anyways, it could be a UI display error, try testing the DPS and match the numbers

Edit: yes, forgot to mention i have IC: bludgeon feat

The UI is wonky. The Details plane displays different information than the hover-over-item display.

I've only ever used Agony and eMG so far but their crit profile is definitely 15-20/x3.

I was curious about this. If I were to take an improved critical feat, should it be piercing or slash? If kukris have a crit profile of 18-20/x2, what is their profile with IC and knife specialization? Better than 15-20/x3?

I've tested knife specialization with Agony, EMG and Ancient Vukoorim Daggers and I'm under the impression that it's working.

The extra threat range is applied before Keen/IC:Pierce, so with the appropriate IC feat, every dagger and every kukri becomes a 15-20x3 weapon. So the IC feat largely depends on the weapons you are using.

I'd tend to IC:Slash since I'd use Agonys for Trash, and situationally EMGs. But if you seldomly use EMGs, you can just stick to daggers and take IC: Pierce.

    But...

Kukris have a crit profile of 18-20x2 (15% chance).

Knife specialization would add 1 to range and multiplier, making that 17-20x3 (20% chance).

Improved critical doubles range. If it applies before knife specialization it should go to 14-20x3 (35% chance), and if it applies after knife specialization it should go to 13-20x3 (40% chance), which sounds pretty awesome.

For daggers, starting with a profile of 19-20x2 (10% chance), knife and IC would bump it to 15-20x3 (30% chance).

If all kukris and daggers are essentially 15-20x3 with enhancement and feat, does that mean it isn't WAI for kukris or is there a cap to critical threat range?

Kukri's only get the +1 to mutilplier. Only daggers get +1 to both. (at least as per description) If anyone is getting the threat range on Kukri's increased by knife specialisation be prepared for it to be fixed/changed/nerfed

I think its a display bug, sometimes if you close your inventory then open it again the right stats will show or even relog, I get that all the time with my to hit when I swap things around it doesn't show in the inventory drop down.
