In the past hot fixes have been implemented much faster than the allocated time. Seeing as the patch updated when i restarted the client, i figured we might be able to log in early.

You have not been helpful.

Shouldn't 'figure' the server will be up before they say they will be.

In the past, if they are up early, Cordo tells us.

How's that for helpful?

Well it's letting us grab the software updates, so at least we can get a head start on returning to the game. Still 30 minutes til one should start to expect to see the login server though.

Just easier to complain about the servers being down during their scheduled time than actually noticing that the scheduled time for the game to be accessible is not for another 30 minutes.

Strangely, I've never had a problem with the GMs. In pretty much every case I've asked for their help they have been fast (sometimes less than 3 minutes) and effective. I consider their service to be top notch.

Not sure what server you're playing on, but on Ghallanda the GM service is pretty much non-existant.

I have submitted around 6 tickets in total about being stuck in bugged quests and I have never gotten help. What usually happens is that I wait inside the quest for 30 minutes, then give up and redo the quest quick. GM contacts me roughly 45 minutes after I submitted the ticket.

The same thing happened yesterday. We were in the Tomb of the Shadow King and the mummy boss became unkillable right after he came out of his sarcophacus. Nothing could damage him. We submitted a ticket and waited 40 minutes after which we just re-ran the quest and started the next one (shadow lord i think). 1 hour after posting the ticket we got a reply from the GM. He was kind enough to complete the next quest for us though so at least that was useful.

However, my lesson from all this is that it's twice as fast to re-run the bugged out quest then to contact GM-s. At least on Ghallanda.

I'm on Khyber. Do they have different GMs on different servers or do the same ones cover all the servers?

Trying to log in and receiving the following error;

"Failed to read authentication response [err: unexpected end of file][line:1][col:1]"

Assume this just means the patch has been applied but log in servers not yet available?

Am having the same issue so hoping that it is the new client launcher not letting us see the red world names when they are down oO been searching for awhile since this happened to me...just glad to know that I am not the only one now that is having the issue

Yeah Moomoo, if you notice these forums are nothing really BUT complaining. For Gods sake People! If you hate the game so much STOP PLAYING IT! Leave the forums for people who actually have something to contribute.....Something besides DOOOOMMMM!!!

That's simply not true. You may have had poor response from them, but it's not the same thing. IME, it's about 50/50 on whether or not you will get help in a timely manner. On Ghallanda.

AArgh and I still have another 30 toons to LR on my Khyber account. At this rate it's gonna take days. And I already messed one up - luckily I've got several dozen hearts to burn.

Well thanks for the effort but why just say that the downtime is going to take 6 hours and be done with it :S

It is easier to accept a longer deadline then to hear about another tedious extension to already promised deadline. What do they teach you over there in managment classes?

Don't you think that 50/50 is a horrible service record for something you pay for? In my case it's even worse and I honestly don't want to deal with GM-s again.

I don't have a lot of time to play and wasting 1 hour of that to wait for a GM is a bit too much. I am sure you can agree with this.
