Default The Jaeger, a TWF Juggernaut variant for u19

So with the changes of enhaments from U19 i decided to finally try a new build similar to Jugg but with some twists. First its a TWF build and its not centered one.

    The split its 12 Wiz / 6 Rng / 2 Rg

So what that build have vs Jug?

    Jaeger have
    +Improved Evasion
+Some buffs can be casted instead of scrolling
    +More sp
+Acces to some PRE with more melee oriented than Artificer (Tempest)
    +Sneak Dmg

    Jugg have
    +HP (D6 Arti vs D4 Wiz)
    +Pet (can be usefull leveling)
    +Some unique buffs (like deadly)
+Can be centered and use monk unique stuff (if you like that kind of stuff)
    +Better saves

Both still keeps traps skill, high melee dmg and multshoot godness.

I never been a fan of monk, so i decided to roll something not KI oriented.

The idea its basically pick the Tempest stuff (you can pick all stuff but the cores with Rng6) and pick also some nice sneak dmg from assassin and sniper (and poison stance).

You need to be WF, but on U20 when Iconics will be able to TR/LR BF will be a better option (cause you can pick Reconstruccion as a SLA and will save you SP on the long way).

    Stats are (with a tomes +4) ->

    STR 17 (21)
DEX 13(17) <- to pick GTWF
    CON 17 (21)
    INT 16 (20)
    WIS 6 (10)
    CHA 6 (10)

    Progression:

    Ro/Ra/Ra/Ra/Ra/Ra/Ra/Wi/Wi/Wi/Wi/Ro/Wi/Wi/Wi/Wi/Wi/Wi/Wi/Wi

Feats are near the same that Jugg but you have some extra choices (so can pick Extend for longer Displacements for exemple) and TWF line its free from Ranger.

    Level 1 (Rogue)
    Feat: (Selected) Mithral Body
    Feat: (Automatic) Sneak Attack
    Feat: (Automatic) Trapfinding

You will have less skillpoints at least without a very high int mod and rogue as first level, then it could be even.
You will have at best same selfhealing since your reconstruct isnt even maxed at CL 15, so even with more spellpower (Roughly 10-15, dont think you will spend more points in wizard tree) wont make up for 30 less base healing.
Where are you getting improved evasion from?
SP will be around the same, tested something similar on Lama land and ended up 80 more than Jugg, but yea its more.

What you will have and i give you that is the access to way better and fitting enhancements since thats what really annoyed me the last couple days.

Your base saves are a bit lower on the ranger version too, looking at 9/12/10 vs 11/11/13 on the Jugg before Epic Save bonuses.

Anyway looks solid for two weapon fighting purpose

PS: Hope this doesnt come as "Build-Bash" and more like feedback :P

it sounds like a nice feedback thanks to take your time writing this!

-I took Mental Toughness (should i mention the feat list, will do) so 1% more crit and a bit more sp, but yeah its just some more. Nothing special.

-Improved Evasion comes from the level 5 Tempest Enh (its top of the tree)

-Thats a very good point i didnt see. Recon caps at caster level 15. I guess i will need to fix that via equip or wait for bladeforged when the caster level will be the character level.

-Yep Rogue level at first. Skill points ends even if i did my math ok.

-Saves its the "weak" point indeed. GH will kinda help (level 6 wiz spell) and some of the rogue/rng enh also boost saves.

T_T why are so many of the fun looking builds Warforged. It feels like Monk and Warforged is laughing at me as they're in almost every build I see...

You can convert it into a fleshie easy But never tested it outside WF so results may be varied!

You will need use healing cocoon as healing source on epic (you can use wands while leveling as you have ranger levels) and you will have enuff UMD for heal scrolling.

Instead of invest into repair skill, go for heal skill.

    Default Bladeforged

Can this still work using paladin instead of rogue with bladeforged? And then when U20 comes out and you can LR iconics, LR over to rogues instead of paladins. Also, is this a 32-point build?

    Hey

Sorry for the delay answering.. seems the suscribe option dont work at all.

If you take paladin instead of rogue, you will lose evason. Evasion its something i will never give up.

Actually, as you cant LR out of that paladin level you need to take as BF, i will not pick it over WF. When U20, bladeforge its the way to go.

And its a 36 point build i guess you can drop 1 point on STR and somewhere else and you are fine.

    Default Eldritch Knight

Has anyone tried this with Eldritch Knight enhancement line yet? I'm trying it out now (only level 4 yet) but wanted to see if anyone has had any success/utter failure with the idea.
