Default Any new class in sight ?

I going to buy the druid class and i wonder if this will be the last class in DDO.

there are new classes in planning development ?

Not likely right now the focus is likely on more Iconics (which is technically new races) and more boring generic realms content.

Since all the basic class types are now in the game, the only thing I can really think we'd even see are just varients on existing things, like the optional classes in the pen and paper that just combine bits and pieces of the basics but don't really add much 'new' vs. 'flavor' to the game. Did you actually have any idea of what you would like to see or think is missing from the game?

Those Realms were Forgotten for a reason. [Zing!]

It'd be cool if psionics or warlocks got added someday, but otherwise every other base class I can think of is just specialized variants of existing archetypes: e.g., Swashbucklers are DEX-based melees, Hexblades are melee+spells, Spirit Shaman is just another divine caster (but with, uhh, spirits, I guess), etc.

From stone age of D&D online games i remember class "shadow" which is not only class - partially a race - he gains power from shadows and dark and is very weak in light (all his ability scores varies depend on how dark around). Can create dark, control weather, can blind enemies and give his friends a shadow form - incorporeal and invisible which doesn't break on action). He can have incorporeal stance. Always success while sneak and is undetectable by infravision and he can sneak without doing any noise. He can pass through the locked doors. He can wear only light armor and simple weapons.

I don't know, which abilities has shadows in the forgotten realms however i suggest this as new iconic

I also remember class "joker" which can kill monsters by saying jokes, making them laugh to the death. It is like bard. He can create and use several tools, musical instruments to make monster dance or laugh.

Both these classes were available after remort (similar to TR), they cannot be selected on the first life.
