Mixing Monk and Palemaster

I got this idea from the descriptions for the Shroud of the Vampire and Wraith where touch causes extra damage to the targets. Has anybody ran this kind of build, and if so, is it worth playing? Thanks.

people have done it.

That said I haven't played with one myself but I've grouped with those that have curious what they'd be able to do. I was disappointed by that party member everytime as they weren't a good wizard or a good melee, but a hybrid that did neither well, and it wasn't a case like the old tukaw types where they didn't do either as well but the mix was just as good, the pale monks I've played with literally weren't worth their scaling.
