A portal to the land of dark Sun (and other classics)

I know the developwers have lots to do... but in future years, as the game needs expansion.... The land of dark Sun was always my favorite. new races and classes abound under the harsh sun.

In the short term*.... it would be neat to see a classic old adventure (such as the Caves of Chaos from the red box beginner set) redone into a DDO adventure.

While I like the idea of expanding to other dnd worlds (Greyhawk) two in particular dont seem to be good choices and those are.

1. Darksun
2. Dragonlance

The way magic works in both of those is to different from standard dnd to make the idea feasible really and Darksun has a whole lot of other issues to deal with while they were fun worlds they just dont seem to be good ideas for DDO

As far as the Caves of Chaos for pnp the new version of Hackmaster(best pnp game EVER!!! and I should know I have been rpging for 38 years) has a new version coming soon to exand the Frandor's Keep setting

I would give good money to go to khorvaire...
Lighning rail heist, dinoriding halflings...
Shar's floating towers...
The actual mournlands...The mist rissing....

Giving the old villans a big payback, talk the lord of the blades (who is a lv 10 character, not a god btw) out of his ways, break Droam into paying for the damages. (adventure hook-->they have a fire giant up there with lots of secrets)

The korrenberg library, where gnomes "talk"the neigboring hobgoblin nation out of attacking them.'

A half oger race?
ogres and humans live in peace all over the place...
Since half dragons get killed on sight and the celestial planes don't interfere with Eberon all that much.

Unnerfing warforged, i already paid for this race, i'd pay again to see its immunities returned and turned into a good melee race (the thing they were designed for in the first place....)


All of this before more portals to new worlds of blendness please.
Not that we'll see any of this comming anytime soon, someone upstairs reads that Faerun was a popular setting and barked the orders. The all poor turbine shipmates could do was turn the ship around and scout for icebergs....

No to Dark Sun, aka Dune and Dragons...it'd just be more of the same, except with "Psi" instead of "Magic". It'd just be a palette swap of Tolkien for Herbert.

Now Spelljammer, though - that'd give you lots of options for really novel gameplay that you sure cant get in Faerun, but you COULD incorporate back into Eberron (via airships instead of "space" ships).

I never liked spelljammer it just seemed stupid to me and would be last on my list to add but I know it was popular with a lot of people
