Default Epic Destiny Past Life Feat Suggestions

Piloto posted that the devs were interested in hearing suggestions for Epic Destiny Past Life Feats, so I thought I'd come up with a few. Since you can only bind each destiny once, I don't think they'll have the same triple-stacking effect of the heroic past life feats. So I'm basing my suggestions off the idea that you can only acquire these ONCE.

    • Draconic Incarnation: +2 stacking natural armor, +2 intimidate, +2 to saves vs. fear, 20 stacking elemental spellpower (fire/cold/acid/eletricity)
    • Fatesinger: +2 bluff/diplomacy/haggle/intimidate/perform, +2 enchantment DC's, 20 stacking sonic and positive spellpower, Lesser Extend Spell (modal effect that adds +25% to the durations of all spells affected by the "extend spell" feat in exchange for 2 sp per casting)
    • Magister: +100 sp, 20 stacking force spellpower, Mobile Spellcasting feat, +4 concentration, Symbol Mastery (all Symbol spells and Sigils have their duration increased by +50%)
    • Exalted Angel: 20 stacking light spellpower, Curse Immunity (the character is immune to all curse effects), +10% light absorption
    • Unyielding Sentinel: +15% stacking sacred bonus to fortification, +10 PRR, +2 stacking sacred bonus to AC
    • Grandmaster of Flowers: Centered (character always has a ki bar regardless of class selection and can generate ki when centered under the usual monk conditions), +4 concentration/balance/jump/tumble, +4 to save vs. all trip/knockdown effects, +4% dodge
    • Legendary Dreadnought: Martial weapon proficiency, +2 to tactical DC's, +2 stacking seeker, 3% doublestrike
    • Shadowdancer: +2d6 sneak attack damage, +2 assassinate/necromancy DC's, 20 stacking negative spellpower, +3 hide and move silently, Trapfinding feat
    • Fury of the Wild: +30 HP, +2/- DR, Immune to fatigue/exhaustion effects, +5% movement speed
    • Primal Avatar: All summons/hirelings/pets regenerate 15% of their health every 3 seconds. +2 evocation DC's. +5 to saving throws vs. disease and poison. Permanent underwater action.
    • Shiradi Champion: Conjure Arrows (creates a stack of 1000 +1 arrows), +4 to damage with ranged attacks. +10% double-shot chance. +50 spell points. +4 search/spot/listen.

Interesting. But personally these arent worth the time and effort of grinding all the XP back. Don't get me wrong they are good ideas. Just not quite enough for me.

Honestly they seem a little OVERpowered to me, especially considering Iconics will reduce it to a 13-level cycle instead of a 28-level one, and that they're reducing the XP needed for 15-20 relatively soon, too.

That being said, instead of Conjure Arrows for Shiradi, I'd rather see a stacking 25% Returning chance. Make non-conjured arrows a little more viable, and make Deneith arrows 100% returning.

Its not uber enough to justify massive XP loss.

LD: +1 tactics DCs per life (max 3), bonus for 3: stacking 1% DPS for 6 seconds after monster is slain. Stacks fades away at 50% per 6 seconds rate.
EA: 1d4/6/8 light damage per hit for 1st/2nd/3rd life, bonus for 3: wings
Magister: +1 DCs per life (max +3), bonus for 3: 200SP and 2 spell pen

    etcetera

Lol people... they are very OVERpowered. How can they balance the game with such abilities in game? imagine a completionist build with all this plus the one actually ingame... godmode.

Despite the fact Vellrad said that is not enough, i find very interesting his suggestion for a passive past life feat (i want to belive that they are not additional to the above listed) and the bonus for a 3rd life is really nice motivation to do ETR.

I would like to see 1 Fate Point per Bonded Destiny (so you could get 11more points total), Fourth Twist Slot opened after 5 Bonded Destines, and a Fifth Twist Slot after 11 Bonded Destines. So if you Epic Complete, you have 11 more fate Points and 2 more Twist Slots. As for the Passive Feats, I keep looking at the Level 1 skills, to see if any of those would make a nice bonus and they are already tiered, so stacking would be pretty easy. Also all bonuses stack.

    Example

Exalted Angel-+5/10/20 Light, +5/10/20 Positive, +2/4/8% Max Spell Pool,
Unyielding Sentinel-+5/10/20% Fort, +0/5/15% Shield Bonus to AC, +0/1/2 All saves
    GMoF-+0/0.5/1.0 W, +0/2/4 Balance/Tumble/Jump, +0/1/2% Dodge
Legendary Dreadnaught-+1/3/5 Tactical DC, +0/1/2 Action Boost, +0/1/2 Fighter Feat

If we do 1 offs, they should be at least twice a regular Past Life.

    GMoF-+0.5W, +2% Dodge
Legendary Dreadnaught-+3 Tactical DC, +1 Action Boost
Unyielding Sentinel-+10% Fort, +4 Sacred AC, +1 Saves

I think with bonded destinies the idea is a one and done per destiny. With that structure in mind I would say something like the following as an example...

    * Legendary Dreadnaught - +30 HP, +1 Fate Point, Past Life Synergy Bonus - All benefits from fighter past life feats are doubled and if three fighter past life feats are possessed an additional +5 to damage per hit
    * Fate Singer - +30 Sonic/Healing Spell Power, +100 Spell Points, Past Life Synergy - All benefits from bard past life feats are doubled and if three bard past life feats are possessed will saves are no longer automatically failed on a one

    Yep.

And you can only do an Epic TR until you have all of your destinies bound--once all destinies are bound, you can only do regular TR after that. So there isn't going to be any of this 3x stacking nonsense. Only a singular effect.
