Update Regarding Connection Issues from August 3rd-5th

Fantastic, cant play once again, i'm beginning to question why i pay for a service that has so many issues, last time was during a heavy farming event that i had a lot of things to get out of, not only did i miss many days of the farming but there was no completing any items due to loss of time. While those who were able to log in completed many items i sat hoping to finish even 1, now i must wait an entire year to try again. What will i pay for this time only to not recieve?

You must have trouble reading...let me clarify....

Today's issue has nothing to do with the other issues that have been mentioned. The issues that you were having previously have nothing to do with Turbine. In fact, many games were affected by it, but not all gamers. It completely depended on YOUR internet provider and what hops your connection had to make before it got to Turbine. Today, everyone is affected. Their service provider isn't allowing any new connections of any kind. They can't even log in to the forums right now. We are all currently waiting for their provider to get their butts in gear...again...not a Turbine issue.

I have quite a few guildies who either have not been able to log in or logged for some reason and tried to come back and cannot get it...this is outrageous! And funny thing is, I am logged in and my husband, sitting in the same room using the same provider and he cannot get in...so not the provider obviously. And, he can get into the forums with no difficulty...it is just weird.

Which is a prime example of why corporations should not be permitted to run anything of consequence, but especially infrastructure of any sort.

The last thing we need is big brother involved. You would still be on a dial up if that were the case.

I'll say what the mods and devs can't, screw the haters. This one's most likely not the fault of Turbine in the slightest. Verizon and/or Cogent if guilty as usual can kiss my golden ......

Okay. I am in Phoenix and I have done everything that has been noted. But I still cannot connect to the game client. As I load the game client it gets stuck on Installing Pre-reqs. Any other ideas that I can do to get back in the game?

There's nothing you can do. It's a fix Turbine and their providers provider need to work on.

Sadly it wasn't the hamsters, they are still chugging away on their wheels. Its the pythons and boa constrictors that provide the connection between us and Turbine that are the problem, again.

Typical Turbine. Like ostriches burying their heads in the sand. Face it guys. Won't be up tonight at all. We'll be lucky if it's up tomorrow. Being honest we'll be lucky to see a feeble apology by tomorrow, or they'll make up some excuse as to why it's not their fault. But be careful, you can't say anything bad about the company, or their employees, because they might cry, and then they ban you.
