Been going through another in a long line of issues with my lower back. Fortunately, someone suggested cold packs to help strengthen the muscles around the injured area. Works quite nicely. Woot!

Once upon a time, I was part of a team, and we saved some children. That was long ago and far away, and, yes, I am that old.
Have never heard it referred to as "strengthening the muscles", but my chiro always insists on ice packs for my back [15 minutes on, 15 minutes off] to help reduce the spasming of the muscles along the spine.
If only we'd listened back when we were young and bulletproof that we were gonna hurt our backs the way we were working/playing, eh?
...'Course he also suggests less computer time, a better computer chair, and proper alignment of the monitor to help posture... but what does he know? hehheh.![]()

lol, cdbd3rd, my doctor suggested the same kind of ergonomic ideas about computer-monitor-chair configurations. I've done my best so far.![]()

Maybe you need to hack a Kinect as your DDO controller.![]()
