Closed Beta Login Issues

We're actively working on this issue, and have been all weekend. We'll let you know when we believe the login issues are resolved.

From my point of view, I'm glad to find this in Beta rather than at the expansion launch. Thank you all for your reports, your logs and your emails.

Just remove the login restrictions.

There is more "harm" in denying VIPs a chance to see all the toys than there is in the public getting a sneak peak two weeks early.

Well at least that time I got a new message... No subscription for DDO found. Hopefully they'll find it soon because I do have one.

Well on that note have another hot dog, its on the house. Lol sorry couldn't resist. Actually frustration was Friday, since then its just been amusement. I do appreciate the updates and at this point hope they come up with a thorough solution in time for the next beta.

Have you guys tried making the server open to see if people can log in? IF they can then you know the problem is in whatever software/program you use for closed beta...

Sure, it's good that it was found in beta. However, how many other issues have been found in beta (not just this beta) and still pushed to live?

Now I'm in and only Bladeforged is available of the Iconics but at the end Create is grayed out so it's not available either.
I guess to use the Iconics you have to already have the Standard or CE purchased, thought you'd be able to play them in the beta either way!

I was actually able to login in this afternoon 4:30 EST.

Yeah, I got in too but I was expecting to be able to test the iconics and can't so guess I'll do something else. Seems like a beta should be to test the new elements of the game, but I guess not in this case!

Managed to log in as well and yes, iconics seem to be down for the moment when you hit customize.

If I hit customize on the Iconic it goes to the customize screen, but when I get to the end I can't create it and I'm guessing it's because I didn't purchase either expansion yet. I didn't think that would be necessary for a beta since it seems they would have wanted us to test the Iconics. Or maybe it is down and it will work later.

I'm not sure why, but I paid for the expansion, got in earlier and have been able to create one of each type. I just clicked thru the greyed out parts (the button still worked but are just grey)..Even started in Wheloon. So it is possible, I'm just not sure the restrictions.

We just applied a fix for this particular issue.

Feel free to check to see if you are able to log in!

I was having the failed to queue for server issue but I got in fine now, is that fixed for anyone else?

I guess you have to pay then, because I can go through the create process with the grayed out buttons except for the grayed out Create button at the end... it doesn't work. I've never been in a beta where they didn't let you test the new features even without having pre-purchased an expansion, after all isn't that what betas are for! Now I couldn't decide which beta I was really interested in so at this point I probably won't buy either.
