BANG!!! Well, you asked for it...

Um, actually, my forum handle is my mostly retired ranger on Thelanis, since I now play on Orien.

Mayleina: 2nd life, Drow FvS, Follower of Vulkoor. Will do one more FvS life, a couple of ranger lives, and then back to her first life: Elven Silver Flame FvS/AA. I really enjoyed this build over it's first life, but feel like it will be so much better with the pass.

Tarlona: 1st life Arti. I have no idea what I'm going to do next, but have a little while left to figure it out.

Tashlayna: 1st life Assassin. This one will be an assassin forever.

Too many others to list, that don't get played very often.

I've been posting a bit lately, so sure, here's me:

    Anfawen Laelvadren, halfelf Cleric 22
    Arnviora Beornas, halforc Druid 21
    Bajante, human Bard 24
Chantah Ivanar, drow Wizard 28 (TR)
    Grakhan, halforc Fighter 6 (TR)
    Kwalish, warforged Artificer 20
Ninevrisei Startree, elven Wizard 15 (2xTR, 2xETR, 2x ITR destinies capped)
    Scrolly (mule)
    Scrollytoo (mule)
    Sigvalda Odinsdottir, human FS 22
    Yraylynde Lathgliniel, drow Wizard 25

    All are Loreseekers on Khyber.

Ninevrisei is my main, the rest is more to try things out. Once all are at 28, I'll ETR the ones that got a free heart, the rest will just mess around on 28 and pass heart seeds to Ninevrisei while capping destinies and improving equipment.
Edit: TR'd Ninevrisei into a 2 rogue 13 wizard Shadar-Kai today. IEUW are those UGLY! And appearantly I need 3 PLs of these...

The 2 Scrolly's are scrollmules, hired to guard my vast collection of scrolls for when my wizards TR and need to redo their spellbook. If you have a lowlevel wizard looking for a specific spell feel free to send them a message. For artificer scrolls, contact Kwalish.

I've never been a subscriber, never used a stone, never bought store consumables, never paid for loot with RL money, never bought or used cosmetics, never TR'd, PUG a lot and spent maybe $200 on DDO since I started playing in early 2010.

I have a Wizard, a Bard and a Fighter, all level 25 in capped main destinies with full twists, all completely EE capable and I have one more character parked at level 20 that I can turn into whatever I like now, probably a FvS. Oh and I have a level 7 mule that I rolled that I use on top of the parked level 20 for storage.

It is amusing to see who has what experience in the game, compared to what they post about.

There's no way to determine anything from any of this unless you want to spent an inordinate amount of time looking up the individual characters listed to see their builds and gearing, and even that wont tell you if they understand the math of the game, it wont tell you about their knowledge of the game, and it wont tell you how well they play.

And what qualifies as having enough experience to be qualified to speak with any kind of authority in here? Having a million gimps? Having a few good characters? A few good characters with multiple TR's? A million gimps with a few good characters splashed in but with no TRs? One character with a billion TRs? And out of those (and others), who is more qualified to speak?

Also keep in mind that players who want that their character information to be public usually put it in their signatures. It's entirely possible that people who wish to remain anonymous posted misinformation in this thread. But if you want to believe that an arbitrary list of character names and levels determines a level of experience playing this game, then you have a right to remain...well, you know.

Arrgh... Must post... Can't resist any more...

An old saying goes something like -- Be careful who you choose as your enemy, that is who you will most resemble.

I figure, I'll choose no one as my enemy, that way I get to be myself.
Once upon a time, I was part of a team, and we saved some children. That was long ago and far away, and, yes, I am that old.

If you only have one uncapped character, you don't have enough experience to comment.

I was trying to explain that the anonymous forum trolls (like me), were not going to give up their anonymity by responding to this thread in any real way. In other words, I referenced a now banned Thelanis legend whose shoes I couldn't begin to fill. I guess I should have known better than to post a Thelanis inside joke in the main forum, because having to explain it feels lame.

Gratz on the 3 capped first lifers, btw. Please feel confident enough to pass judgement about who should and shouldn't post in here based on your impressive resume.

The only meaningful conclusion you can draw from my list of characters is that:

    a) I am an altoholic, and
    b) I have given up finding good names for my characters
DDO: If a problem cannot be solved by the application of DPS, you're not applying enough.

You were doing so well until the 3rd Paragraph!

IF anyone's posted misinformation in this thread then the only person they're fooling is themselves.

If you wish to remain anonymous then by all means remain so.

    Absolute Tripe!!

This depends on what you're commenting on!

I could answer questions about Korthos and Harbour Quests LONG before I had capped any character!

I try to steer clear {not always possible because of the proclivities of certain people to equate absolutely everything to End-Game Only!} of commenting on Epic Elites because despite having a Lvl 25 Monk I DON'T PLAY THEM!

I specifically argue in threads that the WHOLE GAME should be Balanced NOT JUST END-GAME!

No-one cares about your "now banned Thelanis legend whose shoes I couldn't begin to fill."

With 3 Capped 1st Lifers - So long as he didn't get into Zerg Farm Groups all the way up - Chances are he's pretty well qualified to talk about this game.

Even if he did cap by joining those groups then he's going to be well qualified to talk about fastest ways to complete:
    -Kobolds New Ringleader
    -Stealthy Repo
    -Deleras
    -Shadow Crypt
    -VoN 3 and 5 {OK chances are he piked 5}
    -Wiz King
    -Gianthold
    -Desecrated Temple of Vol
    -Vale
    -IQ

As he attests to having capped multiple Destinies I'd say he's pretty qualified to talk about MotU {Especially Rusted Blades!}.

OP Edited again - Coliseum is now Lvl 17!

I do, thank you. If I can trivialise the most difficult content in the game with 3 first life characters I must be doing something right. By playing a small but balanced stable of characters, I have exposed myself to most of the main skill sets in DDO. This way, I can stay in touch with all the skills necessary to play DDO and practise them enough to be familiar with and good at them. Most people who play DDO mainly play one character or one type of character, once they settle into the game.

It's rare to see a player who has say a Melee, Divine, Arcane and maybe a Bard in their account, all geared and EE ready and capable. Yes many will aspire to that, but will have a jumble of alts in budget gear, who aren't very effective and certainly can't LEAD anything. Once I LR and finish levelling my FvS, I will have covered most if not all of the skill bases required to field a wide array of useful characters that can trivialise any content and look good doing it.

I will have done this all with a minimal investment of time, effort, cash outlay and regearing. Not only that but by having the framework there, I can usually adapt to many FotM builds and playstyles. I never have to worry about finding someone to help me do challenges, I can solo them all. Plus I never stress after major updates, the frameworks are flexible. So overall I'd say my setup for dominating DDO is superior to a single character with perhaps many lives.

    I'm confused here.

You say your toons are lvl 25, and "capped." The level cap is 28, not 25.

So, I guess by your own definition...

I'm a former causal alt-o-holic, who is realizing now that more than three toons is too many for the time I have to play the game.

Please Keep it Civil Guys and Girls - I'd rather not come to the forums to find this thread locked one day - I do use it as a Log of my characters after all.

OP Edited - Mihtycricket {Dwarf Shinto} is now Lvl 20.

SARLONA (I am not planning on updating this much so I'm not including current character levels as they will change often enough)

Arasaka-caster druid, first life wizard, second life artificer
Archeriam-ranger AA, first and second life ranger
    Sticksmasher-rogue acrobat
    Cathrias-sorcerer/artificer (airsavant/arcaneotechnician)
    Badram-bladeforged paladin

    less active
    Rosenthorn-artificer/rogue shadar-kai
    Vyktorya-sunelf cleric
Wrogwrak-fighter tank (may soon get rerolled into pdk)
    Dhugm- dwarven fighter/barbarian

Any other characters I have, have not seen any action in a long while and may never. There are eleven others though.
