EAX and Creative Alchemy

Just installed and started playing DDO today.

I tried EAX and Creative alchemy working, but they do not work.
In-game sounds stopped working.
DDO will start "frozen" (DDO is not responding in windows task manager) and disconnects after a few minutes.

I added DDO to Alchemy in this location. Hope it's the right location.
c:\Program Files (x86)\Turbine\DDO Unlimited

After removing DDO from Alchemy, sound works fine and DDO runs fine too.

anyone else able to play with EAX enabled and DDO added to Alchemy?

system info:
Creative Titanium HD
windows7 64-bit.
I have 6 other games added into Alchemy, and they all work fine.

DDO has a long history of NOT working with SB Xi-Fi cards. I don't think it's ever worked correctly.

It simply doesn't work with mine (I get no sound and BSOD if I select it in-game)

There are tons and tons of threads around (if you can find them in these forums) here's one. It is old, but they have not made and progress on this to the best of my knowledge.
